Are Roseua fans getting defensive over the discussion over their 'soft schedule' or are Edina fans using the supposedly soft schedule as a crutch to make their argument? From someone that doesn't care either way I'd say the arrogance and ignorance from those pooh-poohing Reseau is just as prepostero...

I watched the edina tonka game and the goals that were scored by tonka were scored because of errors by the edina defensemen.
And Edina scored purely because of skill and good play, right?

Here's your halo.

Look back on this forum, three or four years ago, and the Edina coach was all but being run out of town, because they couldn't consistently find their way out of Section 6. About that time Wayzata was making its first appearance in the State Tournament in 50 years. Now the things have swung the oth...

Edina 4-1. Minnetonka has no chance at this one. how can you say that after the first game, think about things before you post easily going to be a 1 goal game either 3-2 or 4-3 all depends on how tonka plays in third period and if they go out scared again Do not tell me what to do, you idiot. I wi...

Keep in mind it was a game that featured two teams rated in the top 3 in state, two heated rivals and the game was on TV. I think it's to be expected that some of these kids were gripping their sticks a little tighter. I imagine the rematch will feature a bit more quality defensive play.

Re: Wayzata HS Hockey

Can anyone pinpoint the the reason for the inconsistency ? is it the players, the coaches, player defections or a combination of many things ? I have heard that Wayzata loses more players to private schools inc comparison to Minnetonka or Edina, although I cannot confirm that nor understand why tha...

Re: Sparlimb

Actually, I cam away with the impression Edina wouldn't lose to Minnetonka very often. Jake Gardiner may be a great player, but he didn't look like the Second Coming against the Hornets. I disagree. Once the Skippers stopped playing scared they played quite even but they couldn't convert on the PP ...

If MHS didn't play scared the 1st period the outcome might have been different, but either way Edina proved why they are rated so high.

What a fun game to watch.

btw - the d-bag that questioned Buonomo is stilll a d-gag.

Reminds of when we played each other in the mid-'80's when Braemar sold out at least once and MIA a few times as well. Best game for MHS was at Braemar, beating Edina 5-1 despite Erickson suspending 5 players for the game due to extra-curricular activities.

Re: You sure about that, Goldy?

Have you watched either or both of them play? I've seen EHS play 4 times this year and MHS with Buonomo play 3 times. What's next, your dad is bigger than mine? Good, then you know first hand that Caschetta is much better than Buonomo. Actually I know first hand that you need to put away the peace ...

It's great that FSNorth picked up this game. I'm really looking forward to watching it. Which team do people think has the better goalie? Being so evenly matched, this might be the difference maker. Edina has a clear edge in the goaltending department. Player...............GAA..GA..SAV..SVE% Buonom...

Tonka cant score like the hornets though Minnetonka is scoring 4.68 GPG and Edina is scoring 5.0 so the disparity in this department is miniscule. In net Buonomo has a 1.60 GAA and Caschetta a 1.585 so both teams match up well there. I think Edina may have an overall depth edge up front so imho the...

I think it's pretty clear AHA's schedule is pretty weak compared to the schedule of teams such as Edina and Minnetonka:
