I still don't follow. What does Jake Flemming have to do with the final Adv 15 roster? I don't think he was an evaluator. There you go trying to use logic and facts ... that gets in the way of parents who felt slighted and want a conspiracy :) Congrats to all that tried out and those who made it. I...

Word on the street is that the world belongs to Wayzata. Perhaps we can change the name from the University of Minnesota to the University of Wayzata. Stats don't lie do they. The Lucia-Cameranesi-Opperman line will lead the Gophers back to the Frozen Four. Way to go Coach. Here are the final stats...

Interesting that at teh 95 level, Parker Reno is truly a standout. He is a good player but playing against 94's in the latest AAA tourney, Parker was not even the best defenseman on his team. Please don't take this as a knock against Parker, he is a good solid player........especially against 95 sk...

Miska is that the kid from North Branch? Yeah, no offense to any of the goalies, but kind of a weak class this year. I wasn't overly impressed with any of them at the Festival.. I agree. They are a solid group but none are exemplary. There are no standouts. I'd guess that the choices will be made o...

Aaron Crandall will start the year as the number 2 goalie for the Bulldogs with a chance to compete for the starting job. Great to see with Aaron being such a great kid. Bulldogs should be very solid again this year. Hope everything goes well. I don't see him getting too much playing time over Pean...

i dont think you are understanding my point, he will not be the big man on the team anymore, he will be at best a 2nd or 3rd line player at benilde based on all the players they have coming back. The last couple of years benilde has had junior transfers on the team that have both played fourth line...

Hudson Fasching just went to Chicago with the 291 pick in the draft. They should have checked the rules. Wasted a pick. You cant keep a 95 on your affiliate list. They have to make the team and be rostered. He wont leave AV this year so he will go right back in the futures draft next year. It wasn'...

Re: Is the MN state hockey tournament really that bad?

For the past couple of weeks all I have read on here was how terrible the way this tournament is put together and how all these changes need to be made. I have a lot of this: 1) The seeding process must be changed. i.e. seed 1-8, or just pick the best 8 teams off of some poll and let them duke it o...

How about Ryan Walters? He's in his third full season in the USHL. Granted, he's committed to the Gophers, BUT, if he plays in the USHL again next year, did he really gain anything? Was it worth being away from home and missing out on the high school experience? I know it's a hard decision for thes...

Your usual suspects would include college committed kids and NTDP tryout invitees. These players are.... Brady Skjei - Lakeville North - NTDP tryout Nate Arentz - Lakeville North - NTDP tryout A.J. Michaelson - Apple Valley - NTDP tryout Gage Torrel - Monticello - NTDP tryout Ben Marshall - Mahtome...
