I heard that alot of this year's Woodbury Bantam A's will be going to
East Ridge. Any truth to that? What are the numbers?

Hate to agree with dogeatdog but I do. The Storm have alot of big kids but very little talent and Highland even short skaters had an easy time with them. I do agree the Storm have some big guys but they aren't much of a threat.

SBD 3139, I am not bitter just from a small association and tired of seeing Edina and Wayzata win everything. Aside from selling your house and moving to these suburbs the Fire offers a choice for some of these players. You like my EGF and Fire Dark horse predictions? Surprised myself. EGF had very ...

Yeah, yeah of course Edina wins again even though it was a nail biter. Once again we get to see the power of the Hornets. Too bad for the young 97 Fire as I hear they had a much harder road. They had to fight by a scrappy Lakeville South team to win 5-2, Battle past Wayzata and their "six foot goalt...

How about the girl goalie wanting to face faster, harder shots to improve herself? There is definitely something to be said for that. An elite U-14 girl goaltender would very often practice everyday with faster, more accurate shooters if she played PeeWee or Bantam than if she played on a girls U-14...

I think the Fire and EGF could be the surprises out of pool play.
Is it really true that Edina will have to forfeit if they have to face the Fire?
Heard this rumor that District 6 is getting their paws into it again and will force Edina to forfeit. Any news?

According to the Edina website. . .

Third Place Game:
Elk River 6
Lakeville South 1

What happened in the Edina/Wayzata game? It looked like Wayzata
rolled through it's pool play? Anyone at the game?

97 Wisconsin Fire 5
Highland PeeWee A 2

Score closer than it looked as Highland was beating the Fire 2-0 going into the 3rd. Got a few too many penalities and lost 5-2.
After beating White Bear Lake earlier this year and playing the Fire close
maybe Highland is also a good team to watch this year.
