Big loss, but they have a more than able kid in Jecha to take over the reins as #1 between the pipes.

One would assume not, I expect them to be a top 10 team in AA this year which makes this showing suprising.

Looks like some good solid hockey was played there this weekend, cant go wrong with many of the teams expected to be towards the top of each class either.

I believe its every 2 years in which they redo the sections or make changes to them.

Good to see this. These two programs have sadly been doormats in 7A, hopefully the kids can now be on a more competitive team. Being a Hibbing fan, of course I don't want to see Hermantown in 7A, but it is strange that they are in 5A. Here is a short article on the Two Habors-Silver Bay merger: htt...

Quite a bit of talent leaving again this offseason for juniors, but at the same time it shows the ability Minnesota has in developing players for the next level. 23 going into '10-'11, 21 going into '11-'12, 16 so far this year. Guess I cant really argue with that stat right there, but it shows tha...

I totally agree about Rothstein. The college that picks him up is going to get a great player. Anyone remember Prochno from Minnetonka? Nobody wanted him. He's not doing to bad with St. Cloud. All WCHA rookie team Might as well join his buddy Prochno at State. (no clue if their actually friends) Pr...

I have heard Ohio State and RPI earlier in the year were very interested. I hope St Cloud State makes a push for him, he could turn out to be a great pickup for us! I agree. Not a SCSU guy, but think he would fit in with their program very well. I totally agree, State doesnt usually recruit from th...

What if Virginia, Hibbing, and Eveleth combined? They aren't that far apart are they? That seems like it would be a good AA pool to draw from. Call them the Iron Range Miners or something.
