BSM, in recent history (10 years), has put the most players into D1 hockey then any other MSHL private school and they are not listed? 1 season removed from undefeated season? Underclassmen are very good and deep.

Benilde has top 9th grade goalie in state and potentially 5 D1 defenseman between the 9th and 10th grade classes. They are only 1 year removed from a perfect regular seaon. Hardly a team I would call falling. Take the top 4 players off any hs team like last season and anyone would have a challenging...

Benilde is not falling. They have many really good 9th and 10th graders plus a number of top 8th graders coming in next year. Their D core and goaltending will be one of the best in the state in another year. They are young now but will be one of top teams in state very soon again. Read the lets pla...

If you base it off the article in Lets Play Hockey which shows which schools produce the most D1 players Benilde is top school. Taking a look at programs right now, the top programs are BSM, HM, and St Thomas. Doesn't mean these are top teams this year but overall have best programs and results.

There were more than 7500 people there last night. Based on the number of people who just came for 1 of the 2 games I would estimate over 9k tickets sold easy.

Nice showing by Benilde considering they didnt bring 4 of their top players and goalie. I to hope Marshall gives DE and GR a run.

BSM down this year with the loss of huge senior class. It will take them some time to get some chemistry with lots of new faces but they will get better as season moves along. Also, dont pay much attention to these summer scores, there was plenty of players not in lineup. There is lots of young tale...

JGA beating a top 20 AA school no chance. The speed and depth of the AA team would be to much for a JGA team to handle. I have seen both Edina and Wayzata JGA teams play this season, no chance sorry. Running time by 2nd period.

There is no way the top Junior Gold A teams could beat many AA HS teams. Actually they would get crushed by the majority of the HS AA teams. JGA hockey is fun and it lets kids enjoy hockey at a competitive level and stay in the game.

It happens sometimes the best bantam players dont turn out to be the best players as they move on in their hockey careers. Colby is a great school and strong program and he should be very proud and so should his family thats exactly why the private school comment was not nessasary. Instead you take ...

A high % of the youth system are already in private schools. One mpls rep told me as high as 60-70% of the youth system are in private schools. Mpls program getting better but with high numbers leaving (and will continue) cant expect to much although Hale will help for next few years. To bad Todd Ha...
