No one wants to hear this but EP will make some noise this year. Funny thing happens when 3 classes come together in HS....You can throw out stats from two years ago. Bad news is that EP doesn't't sneak up on anyone. Truth in advertising....not an unbiased viewpoint. Basically the whole varisty tea...

This group of seniors and juniors at Edina have never been a top contender through youth hockey. Unless the kids younger than them are phenomenal or they have significantly improved, I find it hard to believe they will jump up with teams like Eagan, Duluth East, or Benilde. Their program is large e...

I think Crowley will be in the top 10. One name that most likely won't be seen, but should have been in the top 100 was Dan Carlson at Edina. He was the all-time leading scorer at Edina (don't know if he still is, Everson may have passed him) and the '97 StarTrib Metro POY. He basically single hand...

Both Edina and EP will take some lumps this year. Hill too. None will be top 5. i think edina COULD be a top 5 team i think they are being over looked a little bit they have a lot of young talent and yeah they lost a lot of seniors but the last time that happened and people thought they were going ...

Number one regular season game to go to for me is always EP Edina in the holiday classic. Amazing atmosphere even though the eagles haven't had great luck in it recently. Always a classic MN high school affair. This is a game that I try to make most every year. Unfortunatley I missed the thriller l...

my thoughts and prayers go out to the family, the story of the football team was very moving i thought, hard for a team to do that in the circumstances they did after losing a kid that was obviously loved by his peers

U mad bro? Or still a little bitter about what happened this March?[/quote] im not a east fan so i don't have really much to be bitter about. ep was a good team who deserved the state title, they went through section 6 and beat wayzeta in the final which was in my mind the championship since i thoug...

In the game against Sacred Heart last night Rau got absolutely smashed into the boards, and I didn't think the kid was going to get up. He was obviously hurting, but managed to shake it off and even continued his shift. I thought he really showed his toughness on that play. tough kid but it won't b...

i could take some 3rd line player off east or another good high school program put him in Rau's spot and there is a decent chance he could score against sacred heart. tell us when he scores against a good team I'm going to disagree with that. I doubt that a third liner from varsity hockey would be ...

While ranking Kyle Rau in the top ten is too lofty IMO, this is for you Green4....last year at the elite league training camp he benched 150 pounds 20 times, he was one of the top 5 in the whole camp. No he is not big but pound for pound you're not likely to find too many stronger. oh why thank you...

My point is what he did do, not what someones opinion of what others might be able to do. Projecting Kyle in the nhl is a stretch at best but this topic is top 100 high school players and Kyle's record speaks for itself. This kid has learned to be extremely effective while playing undersized, if yo...

Personally I don't think Kyle Rau should be top 10 or even top 20. I think he should be some where around 25. Yes, he had a fantastic overtime winning goal for the State Championship but that doesn't make him better than all the others... MNpuckfanatic77, He has suited up for three varsity seasons....

edina could possibly be a top 5 team this year they did lose quite a bit of players and they have a new goalie but the new goalie that should jump in, is a solid goalie they do have bennie walker who is staying for his senior year and conner hurley transfered from aha but there team is made up of al...

a lot of these new kids will make the varsity team even if they play for the better programs, ive seen fiddler and nanne play and they both look good enough for a spot on edina's team
