Edina cut all but two seniors; they are now stacked with a bunch of 96's; I seriously doubt they are a top ten team unless these young guys grow up pretty quickly. It's Lou Nanne, Bo Brauer, Matt Nelson, Parker Reno and a bunch of frosh and sophs. This is not the EP team with Rau's soph group and L...

I agree he should be on the list but to be fair memorable moments is not a catagory on which they get points on and state titles is only out of a possible 10 i think, and "If Kyle Rau isn't on the list, why have one?" maybe because there are lots of other talented players this state has produced Ha...

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Nick Bjugstad. It makes me wonder if neither Nick nor Kyle Rau will make the list at all. If Kyle Rau isn't on the list, why have one? He played on two state title winners, carried more than his share of the load as a senior, and provided some of the most memorabl...

No one wants to hear this but EP will make some noise this year. Funny thing happens when 3 classes come together in HS....You can throw out stats from two years ago. Bad news is that EP doesn't't sneak up on anyone. Truth in advertising....not an unbiased viewpoint. Basically the whole varisty tea...

This group of seniors and juniors at Edina have never been a top contender through youth hockey. Unless the kids younger than them are phenomenal or they have significantly improved, I find it hard to believe they will jump up with teams like Eagan, Duluth East, or Benilde. Their program is large e...

I think Crowley will be in the top 10. One name that most likely won't be seen, but should have been in the top 100 was Dan Carlson at Edina. He was the all-time leading scorer at Edina (don't know if he still is, Everson may have passed him) and the '97 StarTrib Metro POY. He basically single hand...

Both Edina and EP will take some lumps this year. Hill too. None will be top 5. i think edina COULD be a top 5 team i think they are being over looked a little bit they have a lot of young talent and yeah they lost a lot of seniors but the last time that happened and people thought they were going ...

Number one regular season game to go to for me is always EP Edina in the holiday classic. Amazing atmosphere even though the eagles haven't had great luck in it recently. Always a classic MN high school affair. This is a game that I try to make most every year. Unfortunatley I missed the thriller l...

my thoughts and prayers go out to the family, the story of the football team was very moving i thought, hard for a team to do that in the circumstances they did after losing a kid that was obviously loved by his peers

In the game against Sacred Heart last night Rau got absolutely smashed into the boards, and I didn't think the kid was going to get up. He was obviously hurting, but managed to shake it off and even continued his shift. I thought he really showed his toughness on that play. tough kid but it won't b...

i could take some 3rd line player off east or another good high school program put him in Rau's spot and there is a decent chance he could score against sacred heart. tell us when he scores against a good team I'm going to disagree with that. I doubt that a third liner from varsity hockey would be ...
