NO WAY!!!
Blaine was up 3-1 and Anoka preceded to score 5 unanswered. Dissapointing loss for Blaine, but all is forgotten if they can beat Eden Prarie next Wednesday.

Anoka with 3 unanswered goals in the 2nd to go up 4-3, on Blaine, going into the third. Tufte and Notermann are doing their part, need some other guys to step up.

Tufte is on pace for 52 goals. He is the guy to beat at this point. Garin has had a good start to the season as well. If Casey accelerates, he'll be in the discussion. Notermann will probably be a finalist as well.

Blaine goalie, Jon Kallestad, injured in car accident.

He has a fractured back, and is resting at home. Thank god the young man wasn't injured worse, as he rolled his vehicle.

Looks like Ridge will be shouldering the load from here on out.

Blaine defeated Totino Grace 12 - 3.
But Totino out shot Blaine 30 - 19.

That would mean 12 goals on 19 shots.

I wonder how accurate that is?
Don't know what the finally shot tally was, but Blaine had 25 in the first period alone. So it is definitely not accurate.

Notermann with 15 points in 3 games. Even though it was against cupcakes, still impressive nonetheless. Tufte has 13 points with 7 goals.

Schedule toughens up for Blaine starting Saturday in Edina.

I got a feeling Noterman wins it this year. He was great in the Elite League, and he looks awesome to start the season, so far.

For Blaine it's the big 3 of: Riley Tufte- 6'5 Junior forward committed to UMD, #1 overall draft pick in USHL last year. 23 goals on the season. Luke Noterman- Might be overshadowed by the Tufte hype, but is just as capable puting up pounts. 26 goals on the season. Easton Brodzinkski- Third Brodzins...

Blaine gets no respect. Beat all four teams directly above them in these rankings and are playing some of the best hockey over the past month (12-0-1). They started out slow, which is expected when you lose 5 of your top 6 scorers and your head coach.

After getting upset last year, I would be surprised if the Bengals saw the same fate. This is a senior laden team, and I'm sure last year is a very motivating factor.
