State Games on Tv

Will the boys Quarter Finals be limited to only online like the girls this year? What was the reason for having that on the girls side? Part of the fun of going to state was getting to have all 8 teams worth of players get to play at least one game on tv. Was there news on this somewhere or another ...

Luverne has the best players on their team that is why they will win section 3. There is not another team in this section with the talent of Toby, Chaz, and Jaxon. You do not need scoring depth in most of single a hockey and that goes especially for southern minnesota. Talent will prevail and Luvern...

Shattucks 98-99 group might be the best group since Toews class. I would suggest anyone that wants to watch future NHL players play at 15 head down 35 to Faribault and catch a game.

You throw the words "talent" around very loosely. This section only has a handful of "talented" players.

I was happy to see the Blades hire a coach that, from everything that I have heard, is a good coach who cares about his players. Owatonna can be a great Tier 3 town and if Adamek can turn them into a winner, I could see the fan base growing and people really getting excited about the program. Good l...

No the AHL is not the only place to develope talent but the jump from NCAA to AHL is big and the jump from AHL to the NHL is big. So getting a kid to make the jump at each level possibly 4 years younger clearly they are going to have a better chance to stick. Otherwise you can take the approach like...

The reason why the NHL likes CHL so much (I understand that NCAA sends plenty of kids pro too) is because when a player is done playing in CHL he is 21. When a NCAA player is done playing (presuming he played a few years of juniors, most do) is 24ish. Now in order to develope them at the same rate i...

Oh i deffinitely think Luverne had a lot of nerves coming in. Their top line looked to get more and more comfortable as the game went along. Like I said I really liked what I saw, but when Toby and Frakes were not on the ice Luverne struggled to get the puck out of the zone and Hermantown had the pu...

I liked the way luverne played but had it not been for Meyer Luverne could have also lost by 5. Go back and look at the scoring chances and shots. Way in favor of Hermantown. I am excited to see Luverne continue to build as most of their top end talent returns but to say they could've won that game ...

most kids have them on them in their gloves typically and if the reff says something they take them out put them in their mouths for a shift and then right back to the glove. refs get sick of checking. you might get a stickler some games but at state no ref is handing out a misconduct to a kid for n...

overall 5a probably is better than 3a. that doesn't mean that CL is better than Luverne. Plus this is a message board for peoples opinions. Just because someone says 5a is better doesn't make it fact. Hell, if every person on this board says 5a is better doesn't make it fact. I hope Luverne wins Con...

New Prague's back pressure is what won them the section final game. They take away time and space well and force teams to move up the ice quicker than they would like and dump pucks as opposed to carrying it in the zone. I like New Ulm barring too many penalties given up. 4-2

i knew what types of players Luverne had and they have not dissapointed but I am very impressed with the goalie Meyer. 5 goals but with the chances Hermantown has had, he's played really well.
