I don't know alot about this but basically my guess is that all it takes is to have the money and your in. Am I right? Scrolling through the rosters I noticed that there is 1 kid, maybe more I don't know about, that did not even make the Varsity roster at this high school and he was cut. Not saying ...

The51- You brought up the 2-1 Eastview game...ever look at the shots of that one since you are bringing up the shots of AV-Blaine...46-14 AV. Or the Rosemount game 35-13 shots AV, oh they played the back-up goalie that game as well. Not to mention those two games were also the first 2 of the season ...

South Suburban Conference

New conference starts up next year. What are your thoughts and predictions? Should be very competitive at the top with Eagan, Jefferson, Apple Valley, Burnsville, and the two Lakeville schools. The bottom half with have some clear bottom feeders with Rosemount, Eastview, Kennedy, and Prior Lake. It ...

I sat in Apple Valley's student section the first game against Blaine, and I talked to a couple of bantam players. They mentioned how good Fasching was, so I paid extra attention to him the next couple games. I honestly thought their defense, number 14 I believe, played a lot better and did more fo...

Interesting I might have to rethink the Syracuse move then. How's the final four looking for others? Currently I have: Kansas, KState, Nova, Kentucky. This year there just aren't the dominant teams like years past, should make it fun and interesting. This helps at least for the time being that the h...

Re: Nostalgic Awards

Best Jerseys: H'town, Skippers Hill and Warroad - honorable mention Hermantown really, not their dark jersey right? I'm not a fan of those ones. I wish Valley would of had a chance to show off their whites...oh well maybe they can get back and get seeded. Always another year to bring that award home.

Everyone would really hate how they do this for other sports. I know for soccer all 4 teams that lose in the first round still get at least 1 kid placed on the all-tournament team. Apple Valley beat Blaine 8-0 in the State Quarterfinals this year and Blaine still had a kid make the team, outrageous ...

No one gave Edina chance. Gardnier isn't impressive. Blaine is overrated. Benik is overrated and a phantom scorer. HM recruits. Class A hockey is too unblanced. Roseau>Warroad. Hibbing sucks. Public School kids are dumb. Edina and Tonka kids are rich. All of these cliches should spark about 2.3 mil...

I was impressed with Bujgstad other than not getting any points for his team. He was the best player on the ice for his team yesterday and I felt like their chances all came from him being on the ice. Great player just good defensive job that kept him in check. He had his chances andjust didnt capit...

Finally make it to state and the camera is on you and the best you can do is what can brown do for you?!?!? I think it was meant more out of humor as an attempt to relax the young guys and just let them have fun and enjoy the moment they are in right now. Talking to someone who watched it he said t...

Is it just me or does the AV Coach remind you of Chris Farley? That's what a lot of AV thinks too. He walks around school, and has the same humor as Farley also. But in my mind he looks like Pete Rose (A young Pete Rose). Does any know where I can find the post-game interview with Gretz? I'd like t...

Question for Blaine fans: Does Blaine roll a short bench alot? I watched a little video on the StarTrib and it mentions they rolled a short one against Maple Grove in the section and final and the reporter mentions he asked after the game if it was typical of them and that it was. That could play a ...

Gotta love the Apple Valley fans make accounts as soon as their team makes state. I hope you guys stick around after you lose in the first round of the tourney "I would argue that Michaelson and Fasching are better players than anyone on the Blaine roster other than Bjugstad" oh would you?
