Wayzata Navy 7 Apple Valley 5 I was at this game and I was wondering is this Wayzata team really that dirty? I recall a punch being thrown by one of there kids and no penalty and a few other plays. Just curious I thought the ref's were poor both ways though also. AV had really one or two kids that ...

How many of the EP hockey kids are on the football team and will most likely miss the season opener this year due to the football state championship?

I believe there was about 5 last year.

My pick is Burnsville to win the conference. EP should be good, Jefferson was young last year and should be better. Eagan worse than last year. AV should be about the same. I think Rosemount will have a good year. Eastview needs to do something about the goalie and have Maloney score more this year...

The team has not been picked and the new goalie is okay. I personally do not think he will start if he even makes the team as a back up is in question. They had four goalies vs. Mayo yesterday playing. Colton will make the team and is a good player and yes his dad is a huge guy. PS. Cyle was not eve...

This is how I see the Lake playing out. 1/2 Rosemount/Burnsville...2 high powered teams with all the guns coming back. Both teams do however, have a big question mark between the pipes. We could see a 10-9, and a 12-11 high tempo game between these two, last one to touch the puck wins kinda game! I...

Nice

He'll probably be a late sign up on the cross country team
I heard the same, just stupid but agreed I would be surprised if he didn't burn it off in a fall sport

I heard Friedman is moving from a reputable source. The kid is a nice player and has the ability to score. Edina will benefit having him there. Also heard that he hurt his knee at Selects. Hopefully he will be o.k. He tore his MCL i heard against Rosemount in Sections or tore something, why would h...

Re: Upsets

D6Rocks wrote:I am going to throw in an upset or two in D6.
I think Minnetonka #1, Chaska #2, Burnsville #3.

Edina and Apple Valley have both been playing down to their opposition, which makes them vulnerable to being upset.
Apple Valley is in state with OT victory over Hopkins.

in 5AA Apple Valley should get the 6 and in 6AA Jefferson should get the 6 seed as a number 3 seed i wouldn't want either of them right away because both have success in playoffs and you may overlook them. They would be the sleepers you wouldn't want but toughness wise i wouldn't want to play EP or ...

Why can't one of them get pulled up adn get the job done for Eastview's Varsity then? At least give them a shot. I know Krob played against Stillwater and gave up three.

Well the way this one's going the questionable goal may not matter. Eastview needs to pick up there play i have not been impressed with them and that power play looks awful! I like the pace of the game though. How long can Eastview stay out of the box for though?

2-0 Jefferson now and I can't wait till thsi ones over and Eastviews fans come home and start the complaining about the 2nd goal which was questionable and could go either way, i feel it did cross but not by much.

2-0 Jefferson, O'donell on a breakaway

Re: Jefferson vs. Eastview on FSN North 2-3-07

L.T.Thumper719, How is Eastview's goalie weak when he is ranked 2nd. in the Lake in GAA? Who is Eastview's standout forward? Freidman? Eastview's goalies doesnt see many shots but he is fairly weak, he's a year or two away still. Outstanding forward would be Maloney he's talking about i'm guessing.

both teams are overrated in my book. How are both teams overrated? Everyone knows Jefferson is down from other years and Eastview is 9-9-2 i think and aren't ranked or anything or talked abotu as a powerhouse or anything. Neither teams gets a ton of respect, they can't be overrated unless people ar...

Goaltending and how each team shows up to play is big. The first meeting Jefferson didn't play well until the 3rd period when they started to finally generate some shots and offense. Eastview can't afford to have a bad game and lose this one if they want the conference they have already had bad loss...
