UMass Amherst transfer Brandon Wahlin has committed to Lake Superior.
It's still too bad that Jake's dad is requiring him to play in the USHL next season and won' let him play at White Bear where he really wants to play.

Is anyone 100% positive that Jake Wahlin won't be back at White Bear? I know for a fact that he really wants to return and play for the Bears, however, his dad is requiring Jake to play in the USHL. Re: Mr Hockey 2015

With Wahlin leaving to play in the USHL next year it opens the door for a lot of players. Early list feel free to add: in no particular order.... 1) Brock Boeser, Burnsville (if he doesn't leave to USHL has to be front runner) 2) Matthew Freytag, Wayzata 3) Nick Poehling, LN 4) Jack Poehling, LN 5)...

I thought he already left school. Wouldn't that make him ineligible for next year?

Or maybe he'll try and play at St. Paul Johnson next year since he already lives in that area.

Wahlin has nothing left to prove in HS hockey. Wahlin had plenty more to prove in high school hockey. Of his 41 goals this season, 23 came against teams that finished the regular season under .500. An additional four goals were against three teams that completed the regular season at slightly over ...

What I think is funny is that Jake Wahlin says his team comes before him, yet he's not sticking around for his senior season - he's just thinking about himself. Personally, I hope he's a major flop at the higher level - much like Jake Hansen turned out to be at the University of Minnesota. Unreal. ...
