Didn't Helgeson come from Roseau? And then the family lived in Lake Elmo?

Including sections Lleyton Roed had a total of 52 points this season, if he doesn't come back the next highest point total returning would be Ethan Moerke who had a total of 14 points this year. Besides Roed and Moerke the Bears only return 3 players who scored a goal, Tyler Bishop is the only othe...

I think the one that stands out to me most recently would be 2005 when WBL, led by Ryan Braun and David Grun got upended by unranked Duluth East.
That was Justin Braun and now playing for the Flyers in the NHL.

No complaints here either, and that includes the fine job that Sloane Martin did in the Class A afternoon quarterfinals.

My only complaints are with Lou Nanne and Wally Shaver. Both are a pain to listen to.

Could have been devastating for Hill-Murray fans, but not for anyone else. It was great to see as Hill was overrated that entire season.

WBL should still be good the next two years, but after that you may see more of a decline. The senior group from WBL for next year if I remember right won state as Bantams. They have some notable departures, but enough talent between the JV and some solid players from the bantam level to supplement...

No Brian Bonin (White Bear Lake), Tom Gorowsky (Centennial), or even any of the four Peltier's (Skip, Ron, Doug & Bob) from St. Paul Johnson in the 60's and early 70's is surprising as well.
