Why is everyone so upset about this? I'm pretty sure nobody is making anyone watch these games and this whole argument is getting old. If you don't like it then don't watch it! I actually have done some research on the Class A and Class AA quarterfinal games the last five years from 2007-2011 and he...

Here is another way of looking at it, not that it matters but here we go. Lets say Hermantown dominated the first and second periods the way they did in the third period. After the 2nd it was 3-0. Rogers, in the third was running.....score 4 goals to win the game 4-3. Who dominated the game????? I ...

MrBodangles, you are drinking the cool aid too. Breezing through the A tournament. Did you see the game? Hermantown had them on the ropes. STA was outshot 12-5 in the third. Hermantown hit the post in OT. What game were you all watching? Hermantown should have won the game. And for your playing SSM...

Excellent points! Especially like the idea of playing both championships in the evening sessions. I wish they could come up with a way to fill the seats that are vacated after the first game of each session. Seeing all the empty seats sucks. Never thought about having both championship games at nig...

Re: The lack of class shown by STA

Now i know many of you want to argue about moving up and who should and shouldnt but i have done some research during the state tourney this year and now the truth should come out. First off, STA has no class what so ever. Thats right from the coaches to the players to the student section to the ch...

Just for the record, that wasn't a bad goal. It was an unbelievable diving play by Rau that nobody else would have or could have made. He came out of nowhere and in a way that is a fitting way for him to end his high school career. Not only does he have the talent, but he plays hard enough that he ...

I would have preferred a better goal to end it, like a breakaway or really nice one-timer. But when you get three overtime periods of great high school hockey it's kinda tough to complain Yeah, it's disappointing that in ended because a defenseman missed having enough of the puck by about a centime...

Lou is a professor of hockey. Other announcers tell me what I'm seeing, as though I'm unable to process that myself. Lou teaches the game when he covers it. It wouldn't sound like the state tourney without him. Agree, he teaches you things that you may not know. Amen. I can't even imagine it. And, ...
