You play them 2x because they are one of the best teams in the US (at least usually). I would even play them 3x like the boys do in Tier 1 hockey if given the opportunity. Culver's 2nd team (JV) usually wins the Indiana High School State championship on an annual basis. No other teams around Indian...

For both hockey and football, would you rather have Mark Alt or Anders Lee. Football only? Hockey only? Lee in both. Alt is very good at both sports but Lee is arguably the best football player and the best hockey player in Minnesota. He's also much bigger than Alt at 6'3" 215 vs. 6'4" 185 consider...

"Breck plays a soft schedule each year"...really? They do? -They are in a conference consisting of themselves, Blake, Minnehaha Academy, Providence Academy, St Paul Academy and St Paul Saints. That takes up 10 of their 25 games. Two of them will be good games (against Blake) year in and year out, t...

Re: Waconia Hockey

Their first game is right around the corner. How is it going? Any news on players? From what I have seen with 1st year teams - such as Highland and Meadow Brook Christian - they start their first year with JV programs. Appears Waconia is jumping right in at the Varsity level. Do they have the playe...

So does Budish being out for the 2008-09 season help or hurt Everson's and Lee's chances of winning? Obviously Budish has had quite a bit to do with the success of the other two, and vice versa, but does the loss of Zack help boost the numbers of the other two because they have to make up for his l...

I understand that Highland Park is starting a hockey program. They will have JV team for 08-09 and will move to varsity for 09-10. Is there really enough players to have a competitive team? With the best Highland players typically going to CDH or St. Thomas, and others going to Como, SPA, Johnson -...

RIVERMAN You are Wrong. Players will not go to schools that are going to redshirt them. Many players that transfer do so to a school that has a junior team close enough to play for while they sit out.
