Re: Seeding

So, Chann beats and ties AHA. They potentially win conference and AHA gets a higher seed because they played a tough schedule and lost majority of these games by big margins, and they get a higher seed? Let's hope the coaches approach seeding with a little different perspective. It strikes me that ...

Zamman.... One of our former assistant coaches said his brother was on the last team to beat Holy Angels - in 1990. I will see what I can do to verify that. Credit to Holy Angels, they didn't quit when down by two goals in the final minute, scoring when shorthanded by two guys with 37 seconds left ...

Re: 2AA

In response to Z's comments about Chan's soft schedule: Chan is a 2nd year school. It's hard to build a schedule with no history behind the team Just because you play a tough schedule doesn't make you a good team Chan did ask several 2AA teams if they would play them. They all said no except Kenned...

Noticed Prior Lake beat Lakeville South 6 to 5 in OT - Kloos line with all 5 points for South. I don't know who all in on the first line, but Kloos himself has scored or had an assist on 29 of the 50 goals (58%) scored prior to tonight. If it surprised you (or anyone) that his line would be involve...

In the first 2 periods, looks like it was the top line or 2 from BSM doing all the damage. In the 3rd period, looks like the 3rd and 4th line. Can't ask kids that may not play as much not to try....

Zam Man - Not sure what game you were watching - Stillwater dominated the first 2 periods. AHA did control play in the third - which isn't to hard when you have a man and 2 man advantage. IMO, AHA will is going to have a hard time winning their conference. AHA outshot stillwater in the third by a si...

I agree the mn man that the shots (and play early) were very one sided and lacombe played really well. That being said, Eagan was very undisciplined - seemed more concerned about the big hit than positioning - which cost them on EP's second goal.

Nothing against AHA - know a bunch of the players and wish them the best - my point is more why have debates on how good someone will be before the season is even close to starting - then take offense if an opinion is different than what the "original poster" was looking for. As mentioned ...

I think a certain someone really wants to see Holy Angels lose this season. You can say what you'd like about it but 2 players don't make a team. Besides the fact EP and AHA had a pre-season scrimmage last year and the final score was 9-1... Look what the score was in the regular season when it coun...

Both teams had their returning players - and some new players - I heard it was very lopsided in EP's favor. I agree with you that teams change, and in summer hockey they don't play as disciplined, however it is still an indication unless there is going to be a really good group of transfers - albeit...

Sounds like there are people associated with AHA that are sensative..... If folks don't like others opinions then they shouldn't ask the question - which started this post "Is AHA going to be good this year" - The answer still remains no. Hurley left, Hartley is gone, little depth...... No...
