RINKBOARDAD
Your welcome. All anybody talks about is RJ. #18 has the heart of a lion. Wish I could of been there. Last years game at Centennial was great too. Do you know what the shots were by period? There wasn't a box score in the paper...

Re: Doesn't anyone understand?
Nice first post! But what does any of it have to do with centennial fans expecting reciprocal treatment that they provided Moorhead the prior year?
Let me bow to your great team! they kicked our butt!! we didn't belong in the same building with their greatness! Good Heavens! It had nothing to do...

To all concerned:
You will get no argument from the Centennial fans that their arena is pathetic. They are acutely aware. As luck would have it, the success of their high school team coincides with failed school referendums and budget cuts.

Re: No Class
The Centennial Fans simply were looking for quid pro quo. Nothing they didn't provide for the Moorhead fans the prior year. It isn't about whinning, cry-babying, or losing.

Re: Old school
Slinger,
Your kidding right? Centennial willingly gave up 1/5th of their house to Moorhead, and you say they were just suckers?
Moorhead should understand what goes around comes around.
Not everyone has the opportunity to play home games at Aldrich, dissing arena's isn't the point.
</p...

It goes to show that courtesy, like sense, isn't all that common anymore....

Re: Switch to private schools
I would agree with that if the playing field was level to begin with. Good coaching is great, but it's the number of kids that improves programs. The balance tips to moorhead from the beginning.

Re: Switch to private schools
Knowlze,

I don't disagree that Morinville wants to win like everyone else. I have a question for you. Given the escalating transfers to already strong programs, who do you see winning section 8AA for the next 10 years? Do you not see that as a problem?

Re: Switch to private schools
True he doesn't make the rules, but he is turning a blind eye to a worsening situation. Methinks Moronville sees greener pastures in his future.

Re: Switch to private schools
ezpuck,
While each situation is unique, at least the argument can be made (and a good one) that the switch was for academics. This is a very interesting thread, with quite a diversity of opinions. But I think the big question is what makes MN High School Hockey so great? For me it's the community...

Re: Centennial @ Moorhead 1/29
They have this guy named RJ who plays defense(sic). Not the same way that Lee does though. Different type players, do NOT debate here who is better. Wes Johnson probably will play in goal, he usually gets the big games. He's probably their Achilles, but sound defense helps. Like Moorhead, overall go...

Slappy where are you?
Slappy, all year you and you alone have been saying that Centennial is the team to beat. Aren't you going to weigh on this? And you Spudnicks that are going to the game, check out #18 for Centennial, Travis Vermeulen. The 5'4" whirling dervish.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.c...

Re: Centennial @ Moorhead 1/29
I think the all important #1 seed for 3AA id riding on this game. If Centennial wins that will lock it up. My prediction is a great game and the winner is...."TAILS"
