Re: New North Suburban Confrnce Next Year??
Whoah! I think that is incorrect. Princeton & Becker/Big Lake are still going to be in the Rum River as far as I know. Rogers football schedule for next year has Totino & Irondale on it.
Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls

Re: how about them elks
Get over our little state championship? Haha, I didn't know that it was a 'little' deal to win State now. In that case Moorhead can have it. And if winning state is a little deal, then get over beating ER for the "tiny" section championship years ago.

Yea I watched them lose, but I ...

Re: how about them elks
Paul Martin is one of the best to ever come out of Minnesota. He hasn't been in the NHL for even a year and he's already a solid player. ER vs Moorhead will be a great game as they have always been in the past. I grew up watching Moorhead vs ER for 8AA Championships and this game will be just as goo...

Good Choice or Not?
Do you think it was a good choice for Paul Martin to leave the UofM early and go pro? Personally I wish he would have stayed so that the Gophers would have a better chance at 3 straight. But I can also see where he is coming from because of the CBA in the NHL and not having the chance to play next y...

Re: Biggest Goal In MN. Tourney History?
Gopher 101, Spehar wasn't w/ Duluth East in 2002 & 2003. Although I would have to say that his penalty shot was the greatest in State history.

Does anyone know how many times ER has been seeded #1 in their section and not made it to State?

Biggest Chokes In Past 10 Yrs
I would like to know what you think are the biggest chokes in the last 10 years. (Not including Sarsland on Bailey) My pick is ER losing to Osseo in section semis during Paul Martin's senior year and then watching Blaine walk through to the championship. BTW, ER killed Blaine twice that year.
</p...
