Looks good once again. Maple Grove-BSM has the makings for a great game. I think BSM will win this one and prove that their loss was a fluke. These guys can flat out score!

Getting to the time of year where you seperate the men from the boys. I think in the next 10 days we'll see the STA probably isn't deserving of the top spot but will Hermantown or Breck prove that they are?

Over the years I have been slammed by most people who "know it all", but do not really know anything. Back in 2004 I was slammed by an AHA parent who said that you never pick your team to lose, so since then I have never posted that I will pick AHA to lose. But I have seen BSM play and I ...

Too early to make a logical prediction, but its hard to argue with Kloos even i the limited games played. Better question for after the holidays.

You also have the Lourdes/Cathedral game in St Cloud tonight as well. That should tell you a little bit about both teams. Oh yes, I Cathedral win would really mix things up. Unrelated, there's the Orono/EGF game tonight as well. When BSM was undefeated the BSM/DM game seemed decided, but anyone cou...

This is all good info, but will whoever emerges from this section be able to actually put up a W once they get to state? It seems like most years the 3A section champs are headed home by Saturday.

Scratching my head here on your top three. Why is Saint Thomas #1 when they barely beat a Marshall team that Breck beat by 2 goals, which appeared to deceiving as they were never behind or tied and at one point had a 4 goal lead. And Hermantown crushed their only opponent. Seems that someone is a li...

Breck is not as good as goldy says. In the Marshall game, they were ahead 6-2 at the end of 2 and one of the goals scored in the 3rd was when Anderle's blade fell off his skate and he was crawling back to the bench. Sounds like Breck needs to recruit a good equipment manager. Now that is FUNNY! You...

The Hornets are going to take their lumps early on but have to much young talent to not make a strong showing in the spring.

Have to agree. Don't know much about the supporting cast, but Kloos is a real Stud. I like their chances.

Seems about right. STA seems to be getting the top spot based soley on it's performance last year. Based on who they have coming back and thier elite league showing vs. Breck the logical change this early would be to rank Breck at #1 and STA somewhere between 2-4. I think Totino is deserving and wil...

I may have to agree with genosniper about Breck. An 8-0 drubbing by HM and an 0-3 showing in Schwans does not make them worthy of a #2 spot. DE game against Breck was not as close as the score depicted. Top 5 yes, #2 no. Agreed here as well. Breck's blue liners are struggling with the exception #24...

I don't think either squad should be invited back, regardless of the outcome. I don't think either team should have been invited THIS YEAR! WBL has been an above average team the past 3 years, but certainly not an elite team as they had been in the past, and they don't appear to be one this y...

Tonka's luck will run out today. They benefited greatly by being on the weaker side of the bracket. Hill should win this one easily. 6-2 Hill.

Have to agree. Tonka has been impressive, but BSM has too much high end talent. Unless the penatlies get out of hand, BSM 7-4 win.
