I think Tonka has been quite content to be ranked #1 at season's end, no matter what mid-season rankings looked like. They've had a target on their back for 3+ straight years. A bit odd that BSM started the year ranked #1, since it's normally an automatic rollover until the #1 team loses, but I don...

Re: Warroad not going to State 2013-14??
Apparently Warroad may not make it to the State Tournament next season, unless they can defeat the Park Rapids Panthers, I guess we'll find out how Park Rapids stacks up to Warroad tonight. Park Rapids @ Warroad 7:00 What is next on the Warroad "to do list" after defeating Park Rapids to ...

Politics, emotions, and opinions aside, this is a dang good hockey team. They have speed and size. They were well prepared and well coached last night at Hopkins. Momentum shifted back and forth in what was a very close game. I would say from what I saw last night they might be the team to beat in ...

I like Bill's slightly different version in the movie Stripes when they are having a chat session with the Sargent. It gets quoted on KFAN once in a while.36Guy wrote:AWESOME!hockeyfan21 wrote:sheesh... learn to do research. 8 second on googleAAA Dad wrote: Bet you a hockey puck!

Getting off topic a tad.....The issue at hand is how does a girl enrolled at Hastings on Saturday play with that Varsity team, then is at AA on Monday......I doubt she would leave her varsity starting position to play JV at AA. If she meets the criteria for the MSHSL transfer requirements she will ...

What happened to the killer teams White Bear Lake and Stillwater used to field? They've fallen off the map. Good to see Irondale give some love after their epic upset of Mounds View in sections last year. I can't imagine Mounds View will want to see them in sections again. Tonka is still #1 in my b...

Reading threads like this and those of a similar vein allow me to sleep better at night knowing that the politics at our school are relatively minor in comparison. Either that, or I'm further out of the loop than I thought! This is really not about politics but more about lack of knowledge. It is i...

:D My ears are burning, what's going on in here? Is it time for more chattering of the ninnies? I'll play along. My greatest hope is that Underachiever Academy recruits enough national and international talent that all of the MN girls whose parents have chosen for them to play there find themselves...

Re: Co-op changes/additions (2013-14)
One correction - Great River (a St Paul Charter School) is NOT co-oping with AA. The coop between GR and AA was dissolved although I don't know what that means for the TCA/AA part of it. GR and TCA last year were co-oped with the St Paul Blades. I'm reading into this but I'd bet there was an unders...

If NE financing is secured and deal closes in 45 days look for NE enrollment to boom next year with a real home rink and a long term commitment by NE.
