Okay, why is Duluth East getting such a high ranking? Reputation? Two years in a row they didn't reach the section final? I know Grand Rapids lost White and Stejskal, so there is definetly reason to be skeptical of how they might do this year, but East? Who do they have? Didn't they lose Flagherty(j...

Grand Rapids vs Cloquet to start the season. Nov. 27 I believe at the IRA. Rematch of Section 7AA final. This will be very intriguing this year. The last couple seasons we knew what to expect a bit more from both squads with White, Stejskal, Johnson, Ellingson. With so many mainstays gone from the ...

Rapids
Even if they throw in younger players they still stand a good chance for a 7AA three peat. Graduation hits all the top tier teams in 7AA hard this season.
Let's just hope the 7AA final at the DECC isn't Elk River vs. Anoka. What a horrible travesty that would be for Northland hockey!

I live in Anchorage, AK (GR19). I have been getting massage therapy and acupuncture. After I stretch quads, hamstrings and glutes I feel good, but the tightness comes back quickly. I am playing hockey again, evening pond hockey at (omalleysports.com) Subway Sports Centre. It's tough though. Lots of ...

Advice for conditioning/coming back from injury
I had a hip injury 2 years ago, slammed my right greater trochanter into the ice and knocked my hip out of alignment and doctors gave me pills for a year until I saw a chiropractor and finally got my hip snapped back into place. No fractures or breaks, just muscles gelled together at the myofascial ...

They tried that with Matti Korhonen, but it didn't work. Shame they only got one year out of him. I think you'll see a Rapids team that is different from the sense they won't have a big boost from one or two guys, but it will be a more balanced attack. They'll have probably a 17-8 record going into ...

Re: No
After watching them man-handle Edina tonight, I like Rapids too. They need to change their name back to the Indians though...what is a Thunderhawk? They didn't man-handle anyone, it was a close game. The score was 3-1. How many times did the guys just lay down and not block the shot because the Edi...

GR
Right now Grand Rapids is playing the best hockey they've played in 15 years. Amazing how good they were against East and Cloquet. Jensen was solid yesterday. Grand Rapids has too much depth and size. #5 for Edina will be humbled Thursday night.
