Re: NAHL-Early Tenders- MN Players
What I've observed over the past years is that very few will be offered right away. Over the high school hockey season another 10 or so will be offered some as late as March/April. Of course I'm sure I don't see all that are offered. The USHL does a better job announcing them then the other leagues....

Wayzata would have had same squad and benefitted from the over confidence of Tonka and Edina goalies with very few shots against them during the season and won Lake ..so bring it on! Why didn’t they stay? Dammit ! GB

Re: NHL Central Scouting preliminary Watch List
Could someone expand on Michaelis current situation? He didn't make Waterloo squad even with a nice "after" last spring. I'm basing this on one conversation, but if he lands on a USHL team he's not playing high school; currently on NAHL team and I think he's probably still not playing hig...

He played in three pre-season games for Waterloo--didn't play in the first two games this past weekend. I don't know if he was a healthy scratch. GBNo Jeanette from Duluth East in the list. Anybody know where he’s skating this winter?

GoalieDad, thanks for your hard work. A couple of adds to your list:
Bergsland Fargo (Wayzata)
Pitlick Omaha (Chaska)
Reiners Waterloo (Edina)
Not sure but maybe this thread should be moved to the Junior Forum. Not much activity there so I like it on this one though. GB

Re: Let’s see some top 10 lists for AA, 2019
We can agree to disagree on this one. I've watched him very up close for decades on and off the ice. Yes, I may be tough on him, and he is human, but three events which I won't get into will never make me a fan of him...I will inkle that the bullying case on the ice which he put his tail between his...

There will always be a need to self police whether its baseball, football and hockey. Hell, there is a need to self police when I drive my car to work sometimes. GBIf the game is called consistently and correctly there is no need for self policing.

You are onto a peeve of mine. I'll watch the video later. A kid will go near the boards, get the puck and turn his back. Someone who was going to body him off the puck will push him to the wall from behind on the number. Parents yell, "that's a check from behind!" Well, the kid couldn't c...

Re: Moving to Minnesota for HS Hockey
If my kid is a good hockey player and I have the flexibility to move to Minnesota and work for Target, 3M etc or work from home, I'm going to move to Edina, Wayzata, EP, Maple Grove. If the wife and other siblings and most of all the hockey player impacted are on board, there is nothing wrong with t...

Yea, I traveled last winter and spring following his squad. It cost me a divorce, I'm now broke and I spent four days snowed in at Whistler, but heck I love hockey so I'm ok with that. Great hockey they play in the Bay Area. During groupie travels in watching his team, I noticed a 12 year old playin...
