Benick is playing for fargo in the USHL fall classic that must be why no elite league for him, check out the boxscore on pointstreak. Last weekend #25 was a 6'3" Russian player. Joey was on the ice with the Owls at that time. Pointstreak might be wrong this week. Bet you're right, saw the stat...

[quote but questionable goaltending. [/quote]

Tough to say that about EP, their goaltender is one of the tops in the state. He's young and will most likely only get better.

Got the same letter as DmanDad, and having some experience with the boys Elite II, would assume it's patterned the same. Not affiliated with the Elite I, no gate fees (at least there weren't before) the league is a USA hockey sanctioned league so the players must register before trying out and you m...

They are a major midget team(s) based somewhere around Kansas City. They do recruit heavily in Minnesota.

If Holl develops in to a WCHA caliber defenseman, this will be one of the U's best recruits. The Gophers problem is that they have no defensive oriented defenseman. Lofquist is probably the closest. Otherwise guys like Fischer, Ness, Leddy, Fairchild and so on are all offensive defenseman. Holl has...

Not impressed with Elite II. Not sure I see the benefits to the kids and I haven't heard many favorable comments about the experience but no first hand experience. Didn't help the kids I know that played though. Two years ago, it was great. Last year, in my opinion, not so much. The look of the lea...

The Elite programs for the girls are now being run similarly to the boys program. The upper midwest elite league is considered elite I. The Elite II offers opportunities for younger players that are not with the upper midwest league. The boys programs for Elite II typically ran 4 seniors per team an...

Patterson (Returning Goal Scorer) Horn (Representing Team USA at 5 Nations) Steinhauser Anderson Besse Duda Meyers (Starting Goalie) Which means there whole first line was gone. Very well run event, very well scouted by USHL, NCAA, EJHL, and NAHL scouts. Agreed. Hands down was the best so far. Best vision, best hands, best playmaker. First US born player to score 100pts in the NHL. A winner wherever he went. For his size was a very tough player also. Not to mention a pretty nice guy.
