WBL Black vs. Tonka

This was a very good BB1 hockey game.

0-0 after 1st period
1-1 after 2nd period
3-1 finish (empty net goal with 4 seconds to go)

Tonka had many chances to tie game up, but the WBL golaie played strong making some acrobatic stops.

Were you cut from a bantam a team? You seen rather bitter.

What's the difference between debating who will score the most goals and who the best team is? Not all team records are posted for everyone to see...

The BB1 Moose

EagleGuy (aka the Man in Black) As the defending champs, you can vote for your own team. I'll be sending you the bat signal you ID'd in a previous post during your first round game from the stands. Have you ever considered a career in stand up comedy? If you do, don't go overboard like Kramer did!

Edina White

Great hockey team in Edina White. However, they may run into fair play point issues (only earned 1 of 4 so far). A couple of theur players visited the box many times in the Tonka game. Tonka versus White was okay for 2 periods. But, White put the hammer down in the 3rd. White vs. Blue at the Moose i...

EP Red vs Tonka

I agree that overall, EP Red did outplay Tonka, but hockey is a 3 period game and both teams need to play consistently for 3 periods to stay in contention.

These 2 teams don't meet again until the end of the season.

Let's see what happens between now and then. It's a long season...

EP vs. Tonka

You need to take off your red shaded sunglasses.

EP didn't give up and give Tonka some credit for not caving in. EP's coach is a former Tonka guy and there's no way he would let his team give up.

EP's goalie played a good game and gave up 1 bad goal, but that's youth hockey.

Tonka vs. EP Red

EP Red holds on for a 6-4 win at the EPCC Main Rink. Tonka dug a deep hole and was down 5-1 after 2. The Skips fight back with 3, 3rd period goals to cut the lead to 5-4 with under a minute to play. EP Red gets an empy netter with 6 seconds to go to win 6-4. Observations: EP Red is fast and moves th...

EP Red vs. Tonka tonight at EP Main

Any thoughts on this game? Tonka has a pretty good record coming into the game and looks like they are scoring a lot of goals. They beat Tartan 5-0 and 9-1. WBL Orange beat Tartan 6-0 if that's any indication. I bet you EagleGuy91 will be there! What about you MNHO? Are you going to be exchanging no...

Jefferson BB1's

They are not a last place team, Waconia and Prior Lake will be the bottom 2 teams in D6.

Tonka has a tough schedule in from of them with games against EP Red, Edina White and Duluth East (1st round of Moose Goheen).

We will find out how they fit into the D6 picture following that tourney...
