Andover Squirts knocked out of the top ten? They are a solid team. Not sure how they match up with the south metro? There were a couple errors to the original posting to the U14's and SQA's that are now fixed. Yes, Andover is a Top 10 team at SQA. Are you guys playing in the EP Tourney this weekend...

The tournament brackets were poorly setup. In one side of the bracket they had 4 legitimate top 10 teams in one pool and Wayzata in the another pool with 3 teams who wouldn't crack the top 50. Predictably, Wayzata is stuck playing 3 not very fun blowout games, outscoring the pool in their 3 games 3...

Roseau Bantam A tourney on tap this weekend. Handful of top ranked teams heading north. Will be interesting to see how EGF does against Sibley and OMG. Predict they upset one of them. http://assets.ngin.com/attachments/document/0023/4329/Center_Ice_Bantam_Tournament.pdf Wouldn't be much of an upset...

Scorekeeper, Your previews are fantastic. Thanks for posting this. I can tell you spent a lot of time on these. I can only imagine how many Bantam A parents have read your posts. With your permission, I'd love to re-post this to our website. This is precisely the great information our readers are lo...

The next 5 (Farmington, Highland, STMA, Centennial, and WBL) will move up with wins over teams in Top 10....no matter the score (wins are what count, not margin of win, or SOG). Realistically, the more good teams a team plays in the 8-15, the better. Wins vs. teams below count for very little to ran...

Like I said in an earlier post, choosing teams 11-15 is difficult. Just checked, Blaine plays top ten Elk River twice (per their schedule), after that they will not see another Top Ten team until playoffs....that means their record and eventual ranking could be better than a Jefferson, Minnetonka, o...

PeeWee - A 1. Lakeville South 2. Prior Lake 3. Eden Prairie 4. Elk River 5. Hermantown 6. Osseo/Maple Grove 7. Stillwater 8. Edina 9. Minnetonka 10. Bloomington Jefferson I like the rankings with the exception of Bloomington Jefferson. They will not be in the top ten for long. Question: Which top t...

Skillz11: It is our goal to have 9 really solid rankings for each division. As our site grows, so too will the demand for B teams at the girl levels. For us it is a numbers game....the greatest participation by far is at the Squirt and PeeWee B levels...the same can't be said for the girls. That bei...

seems to me that Blades and Made are the only 'true' Elite AAA teams in MN......... Did they hold tryouts over MEA? :) Are all the best SQ kids in the Metro already on the Blades or Orange? Will Gold or Euro step up in 2012? An argument can be made that The Edge (not Ice Edge) out of Lakeville has ...

Edina White plays Waconia tomorrow night. A WACONIA victory lifts them into the top 10. Their D6 record is impressive....losses to ChaCha and PL/Gold and victories over ChaCha (playing each other back to back seems odd), Tonka, EP, and Jefferson. The D6 website shows Waconia at 2-2 with losses to P...

Who are the top 20 SQA teams in the state? Here's 10 (11-20 is like rolling dice) - 1-6 are hard to argue, after that it's a bit of a tossup: Squirts - A 1. Edina [untouchable) 2. Rosemount [won Bville tourney] 3. Osseo/Maple Grove [won BP tourney] 4. Eden Prairie [won Hopkins] 5. Andover [lost in ...

20custom, Thanks -- duly noted. Next week, it looks like I will have to break out a little veto power on the rankers. Especially the WBL and LVS gaffe. I saw Hopkins this weekend, they are deserving of Top 10....for now. Thanks to all you guys for your feedback. Best Regards, TS PS: If you sign up t...
