Gray, I know you didn't mean it this way, but just think about it when his "not a good year" is #8 in the state and 15-5. I think that says it all in support of him.

BSM will be fine. Not saying they will win it all but they are a very solid team capable of beating any team on any night. Wayzata has a nice team as well. Good game tonight. I think Timmy is just an angry Wayzata fan.

Benito, That was the worst home cooking. Its embarrassing when you need te refs to win the game. Goal in the second period for CC when goalie pulled it out of the net. Called no goal. Then to make matters worse, goal goes in in third period and THEN refs blow whistle and say goalie had it covers up....

While it may be the best system out there, it still places way to much emphasis on goal differential.

The biggest problem with the ranking system is there is way too much weight given to goal differential. They néed to factor the win loss record more with the SOS. Goal differential should only have a minimal effect. That said, no system is perfect.

I do, but the northern teams don't match up well with metro teams. There won't be one northern team in final four. That's not a cut, it's just a fact. The metro teams are stronger teams. That said, I hope I'm wrong, I would love to see Warroad and Roseau make it, but that just won't happen.

Roseau likely won't win a game in pool play. Edina, stillwater, EP, and LVS are all solid picks PWGuy.

Farmington had hardly any shots all night. Tough night for the Tigers but CC was all over them all night.

I agree with SWPrez. The article, quite frankly makes little sense. I tip my hat to the Minneapolis Assoc. This problem would be significantly reduced by two things happening. Refs making te calls and the penalties being more severe. On any team, it tends to be the same kids engaging in the type of ...

I think Karl's rankings also Highlights why determining stae births have to e looked at. State Tourney's goal should be to get te 8 best teams there. While that is not always possible, there could be a better way of doing it. Only disagreement is Moorhead is too high.

Well Timmy, unless you're playing knee hockey, if a team is giving up 11 breakaways in two games, it seems to me that who your goalie is becomes even more important. They'll be fine.

BSM is a solid team with many good players. They will get Bette as the season goes as well now that their goalie is back. Out of the teams that are left they might be the favorites with MG.

Task, No disrespect to the Jags, but they have .0000000001% chance of beating prior lake. I am not a prior lake parent but have seen both play several times. I am not on board that pl is as great as others say (they are very good), but the Jags aren't in the same class. But I am saying to you, as Ll...

I respectfully disagree that kids who do not like the physical part of the play become physical as they get older. It's certainly not impossible or unheard of for that to change and kids do change, but if they don't like it they generally don't like it all the way through. Now it also doesn't preven...

Only problem with it, especially early on is that it adds points for goal differential which I think does alter the real rankings, especially early on. You see some teams beating others by 10, 15, and in one case 20 goals. They have a much lower initial power score, but then get ranked high because ...

Both pl and ep are good teams. But EP has a good goalie and two strong players--PL has a good goalie (a move in from Bloomington) and a much deeper team. Not a dad of either team but have seen both play multiple times this year.

Chaska/Chanhassen 5

Had the game ended at the end of the scheduled ice time CC was ahead 5-4. Farmington scored in the additional 5 minutes they kept playing before the doors opened to tie it up. CC was up 4-1 in the second.

The only thing declining in our association is the number of kids put on the A team. Kids trying out is going up (100 at squirt level) but only 14 kids rostered on the squirt A's including the goalies. Thought D6 had rules against that. And no my kid wasn't passed over, he's still a mite.

I like both Edina teams and Prior Lake

Actual--love the Idea of extendiNg the contract. But I think it should it should be a life time extension for both of them. As to the reasons, can't argue with you on the coaching. However I disagree on the players. While I think all of the players would end up on a D1 team, many of them would not e...
