1-0 Holy Family over Greenway after 1. Shots on goal 24-8 HF. Troumbly is out along with Vekich and Jorgensen. Troumbly has a severe sprain the other two are out with concussions. Will be a long night. Wright is playing lights out in the first period.

Greenway will be missing defensemen Jorgenson, Vekich and possibly Troumbly. Too many injuries for a squad that is thin to begin with.

I guess the consolidation of Virginia and Eveleth is happening sooner then expected. If they do end up in Eveleth it will be interesting to see if they fit in or if it is a distraction. They’ll be pushing out two Eveleth kids who have been a part of the team since squirts.

Greenway should get a first round home game because there aren’t any very good teams on the Range. Looks like Hermantown will put everyone in running time in sectionals.

The pattern for Greenway has been the same in the games against good teams. Outplay or stay with the good team in the first period. Second period things turn in the other team's favor. The worst thing about this is that another Metro team may be assigned to 7AA. The most likely would be Blaine. They are already in Section 7 in some other sports.

Greenway does have a kid practicing with them now who would be the fourth defensemen. He did not play hockey last year. Decent player that will help out a lot as that would allow for the current 4th defensemen to return to the second line. Won’t be eligible until the first of the year though.

Troumbly is questionable for the Denfeld game. He didn’t play the last half of the Cathedral game. If he doesn’t play Greenway has no chance.
