1. East Grand Forks 3-1 2. Warroad 2-1 3. Thief River Falls 3-1 4. Crookston 3-1 5. Lake of the Woods 3-2 6. Red Lake Falls 4-1 7. Park Rapids 3-4 8. Kittson Central 2-6 9. Bagley 0-6 I think Warroad is the best team, but EGF did beat them 3-0. Still a lot of hockey yet to be played, but it's prett...

Looks like that schedule really helped out last night for the Rams, but it should make things much more interesting next time around in Roseau. Warroad has been playing well defensively as of late, and if they can keep managing to mix in a goal or two they should be fine down the stretch. Funny how ...

And how do you explain the tie to Fergus Falls, who lost to Sartell and tied with River Lakes? Does not pass the smell test. Not sure LF is a top 10 team and thier schedule may not allow them to prove it prior to sections. I would like to put them ahead of Hibbing, but I just cant get by that tie t...

I think Warroad should start clicking now after a couple big road wins and hopefully it carries over to the big rivalry game and continues through the upcoming section schedule. One must keep in mind the rematches with TRF and EGF both will be in Warroad, plus the one and one with the Pirates still ...

Look, all I'm saying is they did it and they face stronger competition week in and week out. That is why I think Roseau will win. Fair enough, they have a couple big guns scheduled this year in Tonka, Wayzata and Blaine, and even though they lost to the Skippers and Bengals they were close games an...

The Warriors looked good on Saturday. The still lack the offensive firepower as shown by some of the other top teams in the state but they definitely make up for it by their physicality and play in the defensive zone. We know with Coach Hasbargen's old school philosophy and Coach Fermoyle's goalie m...

I think the Warriors could be a GREAT TEAM but they might need to change some lines around and maybe change goalies...Andy Foster just seem not with right now and he has lost four in a row..I would like to see Chris Laron take over and see if Andy can get out his slump...but the team needs to put t...

sliver butt! lol  What is that?????? I'm guessing it is because he sits on the bench so much. If you are refering to Dillion Thompson, not enough playing time? He has 0 minutes so far this season. I don't think anyone will be losing any sleep over that move. Have to be pretty selfish to leave ...

Isn't Monticello AA? Their population is just under 10,000 so there is no way they can claim the "small town" card. They should have a strong program and politics has simply gotten in the way of that which is sad. Oh and it looks like someone should be spending a little more time with the english te...

We could barely beat Mound Westonka. its going to be a rough year for the boys from 690.... Looks like a lot of guys getting their feet wet to start the season, they will go through some growing pains in the beginning but should still be in the hunt when it comes down to the wire. They always find ...

I would have to agree the section is wide open, but have to say all the little towns in the greater Park Rapids area are not enough to send the Panthers to the state tournament. They could make a good run but then its all said and done it will come down to Warroad, EGF and TRF like usual. They just ...

Then you thought wrong ... it is a marketing slogan used by a Minnesota professional team ... with no national championships ... ZERO. Most states would be embarrassed to call themselves the State of Hockey with such a record. And you compare this to who, the Milwaukee Admirals? You obviously have ...

Everyone knows anyone of the top 5 teams from the WCHA could be in the same position that Wisconsin is when thrown in the same regional. They beat a Vermont team that is only 3 games above the .500 mark, then beat SCSU (#3 seed of the WCHA tourney and finished 4th, but quite the up and down team), a...

Ya, like all the good AA players are going to travel to Warroad on a Tuesday night to play against A competition. Might as well have the game in St. Cloud and see how many good A players show up on a Tuesday night. It was just a section competition. Only AA section 8 would have to go. It's not like...

Well sickflow22, judging by your comments about your loyalty to 206/216, it sounds as though you are the terrible player who either a) lost to a "jv" team playing in the A state tournament b) play on a terrible AA team where your only justification for losing all the time is "at least were not A" c)...

i dont recognize any class a records and its a joke that they put the two in the same catagory considering the serious seperation in talent level from one team to the next its like watching the girls tournament that needs a first round play in for tv viewing. all reachable records will eventually b...

I'm not a private folk....Nor do I represent Breck. I have enjoyed watching that team the past few years though. It sure looked like Morin and Fulton took control way more than Brock. FYI-do all Warroad kids come from Warroad? I believe they have had plenty of out state/country players come to the ...

Happy to see this after a tough loss to Breck yesterday. Nelson was fun to watch. Yes he was, will be interesting to see how this team comes together next year without the big guns, Nelson and Hebel. They do have some key guys coming back however, and with Foster in net having some confidence they ...
