this is an incredibly difficult question - and i would hope most would not pass judgement until you have been through it, or have been close to a family that has. when recruiting junior & college coaches are suggesting such and such, it is very easy to get caught in the wash. It is important to...

Thanks for the spelling lesson. I'll return the favor and offer a reading comprehension lesson in that the quote you just put up was not mine, it was another posters, nor did I agree with that exact statement, especially when taken out of the context in which I believed it was intended... guess tha...

Not sure how you can disagree with the idea that players and parents should make up their own minds on what is best for them when and if they have that opportunity rather than speculating on something that has not and likely will not happen? That's the most reasonable and logical thing anyone can d...

Or a parent is looking at possible opportunities based on their kids interest and dedication toward the sport of hockey. My kid won't go anywhere unless my kid wants to go. Just as my kid will only get as good as he wants to get and only my kid can put in the time and dedication needed to reach is ...

Any parent who confesses to this juniors-before-graduation strategy is living out their fantasy through their kids. Couldn't disagree more. Typical canned answer to a very complicated question. Just like there's no one right skate or stick there's no one right answer to this question. I think you t...

Their list has absolutely no meaning. Congrats to everyone who made it. Maybe a few athletes get a thrill for a few more days after hockey is over.

Does anyone know what kind of Law trouble the chan kid is going to get into for the head butt? My assumption is that being a senior, if he doesn't play a spring sport something will be done by his principal or AD. If he does play a spring sport maybe the MSHSL would get involved. Purely a guess. I ...

This was my first time seeing Chan this year. I thought the coaches let the team get out of hand, ending with a really unfortunate scene as already described. You could see things getting worse as the game wound down. The crosscheck was to the throat which is why they game him a major. Luckily the o...

My first round winners are Edina, Jefferson, Burnsville and AHA. Second round Jefferson over Edina, AHA over Burnsville. 2AA Finals, The game we all wanted to see in the first round is now the finals. AHA over Jefferson in a very well played fast paced game that goes to 3ot's with a Bloomington kid...

Not defending it, but I believe the reason was because they feel they lose too many kids between Squirts and PeeWees. Hopefully the same thing won't happen between PeeWees and Bantams now.

Eagan 6 Bloomington Jefferson 6 Final Anyone see this one? I was there as well. As the game went on, Jefferson refused to quit and Eagan started to coast. Score was 6-2 at one point and still the young Jags kept coming. Hernon with 4 goals and probably the Jags best effort of the year. Fun game to ...

Exactly! For my own reasons I hope Holy Angels and Jefferson play each other, but it would have very little significance to most people.
