Little Falls played both Mahtomedi and Orono early in the year. At that time I was very impressed with both teams, but Mahtomedi more so than Orono. It was Orono's first game of the year though.

Yes, in 2008-09 season LF only loss was to Breck in the state tournament. Undefeated regular season.

Due to some unkown incident in the Little Falls High School, the LF vs NL game has been postponed tonight and may be played tomorrow evening in Brainerd. Not solidified yet I'm told.

I just looked at SCC's results and schedule. I might be wrong about them being #5. A close loss to Orono can't hurt. If they play well and maybe beat EGF down the stretch, maybe. Otherwise they have some bad losses in there.

I would think the 1A winner would be the 5. The only possible other would be if SCC dominates the rest of their regular season and then wins the Section playoffs easily. They may have an argument for the 5 seed.
