D4 BA Districts

Redwood Falls seems to have cooled off a little, I'd give Fairbo the edge. The next five or six teams after those two seem pretty close together. Since only two teams make it to regions, should be an awesome tournament.

D4 BA

jackstraw - I see Redwood Falls beat Faribault . . . but RF lost to New Ulm, NU lost to Kato, Fbo beat Kato and ALea beat Fbo. Should be a great District tournament, right?

The Bantam A scoring leader from D4 has got to be Palusky from Redwood Falls, but there are some other great kids in D4 BA.

FARIBO v Kato BA game

Game was 2-1 Kato in the 2nd period before Faribo broke it open, scoring four goals in the 3rd. Both teams have a long bench and played all their lines. The Faribo coaches said they play Redwood Falls Friday night, so that should be a great D4 game.

thx jackstraw. Faribo plays tonight at Shattuck at 7 v Kato. ALea can be tough, no doubt.

Mankato won 2-1. Pretty good game with special teams deciding the outcome (2 PP goals). Owatonna has some horses but Mankato was a little deeper. Also, this is a possible first round district playoff matchup.

Hey - kids will be kids, right? The D4 Bantam A rosters, Faribault included, can be found on the District 4 website, BTW. Time will tell how D4 shakes out - I'm not from RF but think they have a good team and the big kid, #11 Palusky, has been very strong when we've seen him (ten points in two games...

Redwood Falls beat New Ulm 4-0. Faribault barely beat New Ulm. Seems like RF is competitive. Plus, RF beat Faribo last year in BA, I believe.

Redwood Falls

The only thing I can say is that the Palusky kid from RF has played really well. I think he had seven goals and ten total points in the two kato games (out of 14 total goals scored by RF). I think he had seven points in another game this year as well. They have great first line with him at center.

Don't forget Redwood Falls in D4 Bantam A

Redwood Falls is still undefeated in D4 play and has not even had a close game yet against a D4 opponent. They are clearly going to get the #1 seed in the West and should be at least as tough as Faribo at Districts.

D4 Bantam A

I think Faribo and Redwod Falls are the favorites in D4 Bantam A's right now, by a little, over Owatonna, New Prague and Mankato. Albert Lea also has a good team. The District seems pretty even. Redwood Falls is undefeated in District play (and had a much easier time against New Ulm, winning 4-0, th...
