I think there is always extreme cases where it may make sense to waiver out...But okay I will play along. Let's say they don't have an A team...I say just play with his buddies on the B team. What harm will that do? Because if the parent is moving the kid out because lets say they don't have a squir...

So I'm a little confused..Galaxy is a competitive product to association based hockey correct? So instead of a kid playing Bantams for his city, he enrolls in the school then can play for Galaxy during the school year. They won't play against other Bantam A/AA teams yet instead play out of state or ...

I think the captain, yes even at the high school level, is over rated. Most of the kids have little clue and no experience on how to motivate or manage a locker room. I've seen it way to many times the C goes to the kids head and he becomes more of a nuisance than an asset. Or other kids become jeal...

I hope we are not at the point in life were we now expect kids (captains or the guilty party) to get up and give any sort of statement. College yes, high school 16 year old kids..no....let that sleeping giant lie please I think most of us won't know what really happened nor should be be entitled to ...

Kids getting busted for drinking does not fall on the coaches. It falls on the parents. How about suspending the parents from watching their kid play long after the kids fulfill their suspension? OR require them to triple their volunteer hours if their kid is caught breaking the rule. Probably a stu...

It will be interesting to see where this goes assuming he returns to Wayzata next year. People are tweeting about him, guys like us discussing him in forums and of course his classmates are all slapping him on the back. I've seen it go both ways. Sometimes these kids roll up there sleeves and keep w...

Im not psychologist either but I did stay at a Holiday Inn back about 6 months ago. Kid's make mistakes, they do dumb things. Should he have gotten kicked out of the game? Fair question.... Will he act like this next time? probably. I've been around hockey long enough to know that things like this u...

Here is my take on the HF/EP. Like someone earlier, I had no dog in that fight and was simply there to watch hockey Refs make mistakes and miss calls many times during a game. This happens at every level of hockey from Mites on up to pros. Get over it. Quit acting like a spoiled fan just because you...
