Re: Warroad not going to State 2013-14??

What is next on the Warroad "to do list" after defeating Park Rapids to get back to State cause it looks like that one got checked off decisively last night... 7-0 win for the Warriors is about what I expected. Park Rapids has been blowing their own horn for years in both boy's and girl's...

Re: Warroad not going to State 2013-14??

Apparently Warroad may not make it to the State Tournament next season, unless they can defeat the Park Rapids Panthers, I guess we'll find out how Park Rapids stacks up to Warroad tonight. Park Rapids @ Warroad 7:00 What is next on the Warroad "to do list" after defeating Park Rapids to ...

Proctor/Hermantown is not a factor as to who comes out of section 8A. They are section 7A.

Re: No domino

Interesting. If Roseau moves back to AA, will there be any kind of domino effect to move other teams around to balance things out? Roseau was put back into 8AA. But, there was no domino effect. I'm sure Buffalo remains ecstatic about this. However, Buffalo was moved into 8AA to make 8 teams since R...

Re: Section Assignments

Funny that doesn't work in other places. Enrollment is enrollment regardless how many hockey players you have. Certainly it works other places, and in both directions... If everything is based on enrollment, why do Roseau (371), Benilde-St Margrets (897), Holy Angels (691) and Hill Murray (599) pla...

Re: Section Assignments

* St. Paul Blades and Minnehaha Saints were swapped between 4AA and 4A. I’m not sure that I understand this one, Blades have a total co-op enrollment of 5778 and Minnehaha has a total co-op enrollment of 1976. Also, if M’haha were to remove the 2 Lutheran schools from their co-op, which according t...

Two from Warroad and one from Crookston is over representation? (Hermantown is Eastern Minnesota)

Their Dad is from Warroad and they had some issues going on with his parents they had to help deal with. Both girls were also pretty good tennis players but were forced to give it up.

The Edina team made a stop in Bemidji too. The game was a blow out in Edina's favor and could have been much worse than it was, as Bemidji took a couple of "frustration" penalties, but after the game the two teams gathered for a group picture and there were lots of smiles. That is what you...

Another aspect of the issue is with associations that have numbers issues for girls, lose some to the pee wee team, and now there is barely enough players for a girls team.
