seems like a fair process... There are more than 54 very good players and not much difference between last 20 in and first 20 out. Breza had no goals through 2 games (correct me if I am wrong) and then lit it up in the friendship game. Other top end kids had a hard time lighting the lamp as the D, G...

Winny is one of 15 evaluators at the 16 level as she does gave a great eye for talent but is not a final decision maker. I have known her for 15 year sand she is very truthful and unbiased with a great eye for talent so they would be stupid not to use her. Winny has done awesome things for ALL girl...

If they were scholarship players, does that mean their scholarship evaporates as well? No, it's been confirmed that all rostered players, if they stay enrolled, would continue to receive their current scholarship level. That is correct, plus, the players received their official release yesterday so...

Does anybody know why there is a girl listed as being from Duluth on the Section 6 HP17 team? Sometimes if a girl doesn't make it for their section and another section is short they are able to play with that section. Hailee Berg from Centennial is a section 5 player also list on the roster. A coup...

I don't know who is feeding you all the optimism on Cretin. All I hear is that team has issues. Lots of drama and a new coach that turned a really good team into an, "above average team", at best. I know nothing about their drama level or coaching situation, but they sure have lots of players playi...

EP and Tonka were able to use their lobbying efforts to avoid Blake and Edina got stuck. Lobbying? They not teach geography when/where you grew up? Either you don't understand basic geography or the process. Bottom line a team that has a HS address in the middle of Mpls, is not going to end up in a...

The recession was a big part of it and some went down and then recovered and some didn't recover? Some areas have declining enrollment but does that affect girls hockey more than boys? White Bear Lake seems to be doing great on the boys side but dying on the girls side? Lack of leadership in the gir...

There are about 5 associations with huge youth numbers (on the girls side) and then everyone else. Edina, Minnetonka, ________, ________ and ________. :?: Edina, Minnetonka, Wayzata, OMG, Stillwater, Andover??? Huge numbers is prob pushing it for some of these. My point was its not like the top 20 ...

So are White Bear Lake, Roseville, Apple Valley, Eastview, Rosemount moving to class A then? They don't have 90 girls at each age to choose from like the Cloquet coach/admin said .500 is never good enough anymore, you have to be able to go to state BTW, I know zero about CEC's situation so its not a...

section 4 could be epic in a couple of years with WBL and Still the top two AA Bantam teams this year for most of the year and Hill Murray is Hill Murray. HM tends to get WB and ST kids so it will be interesting to see if these groups stay in tact but HM will always find good players

Re: PUCK

East Ridge has everyone coming back after a section semifinal 2-1 win over Eagan and a section finals 2-1 loss to Eastview. Plus word through the grapevine is 3 kids from outside the district are moving in. Should be a solid contender for the section 3 title next year. Since section 5AA only has 7 ...
