Re: Thelen
Let's hope he can straighten his issues out. He doesn't seem like a bad guy, perhaps just a few troubles. It is not a good move on his part to be drinking the nights before games, but I don't think we can condone his underage drinking. It is something that just about every college student is guilty ...

According to the Vikings website they have agreed to terms with free agent cornerback Fred Smoot. He will be a great addition to the defense, as well as Pat Williams.

Thelen was dismissed from Michigan State. You would think he will still get a shot with the Wild though.

Re: 4AA
I did not pencil Wayzata in as the winner. It would be stupid to do that, I just stated that at this point they look like the favorites. Blaine should be good, as well as Osseo, and who knows who else will step up as contenders. It is a section that has been dominated by Elk River, 4 out of the last...

Re: 4AA
They try to do it geographically, maybe they felt it was time to move Elk River into a northern section. Out of 4AA, Wayzata is the favorite, although Blaine could make some noise. Osseo is always pretty good. I can't see Maple Grove doing much after losing their goalie. It looks like Wayzata's sect...

Re: WOW F the mshsl
Benilde could make some noise in the section, they do have some talent. I don't see them being able to come out of there having to go through Eden Prairie, Edina, Jefferson, and Minnetonka.

I know a lot of people on here aren't huge basketball fans, but I love the NCAA tournament. The hockey tourney is also fun to watch, finally get a chance to see some of those teams from out east.

Re: AHA 2005-2006
I for one am not a big fan of private schools, just a personal preference. But, Holy Angels has built a great hockey reputation, and it is safe to say that people who go there are looking for a good hockey program and a good education. I don't think it is fair to say that all these kids are being re...

Re: AHA next year?
Holy Angels is my # 1 team heading into next year. This is assuming Barribal and Mattson stay. They have some great forwards returning and Keaton Smith is solid in net. Not sure about their depth on D, but I am sure they will be fine.
