37 is plenty healthy!! Especially if that is 10-12. There are lots of AA schools that would love to have those numbers. That's not to mention I am sure a few quit or chose not to try out.

Slp puts in backup goalie with 330 left in game. If I am the hermantown coach I double shift 3rd and 4th line for rest of game.

Why doesn't anyone complain about hermantown playing class A. They are another team that plays many AA non conference games and should make the jump up. I understand it will never happen as long as plante is there.

Pondhockey - you have no clue what you are talking about. Tonka's depth is actually pretty bad in my opinion as is most girls hockey teams. With that said their 2nd line plays just as much as their top line.

I was also there and agree the goalie definitely escalated things. Had he stayed in his crease it wouldn't have gotten out of control. There was no reason for him to get involved.

As long as this wasn't their 4th scrimmage everything is all good. There isn't much of a difference between this and setting up official game after section brackets come out which lots of team do. Some coach's like to break up the week before sections start with a scrimmage or game.
