I think Denfeld's tie with Hermantown last night locks them in at the #2 seed. Winner of the Virginia/Marshall game will be the #3 seed, and loser #4.

I don't think this will shake things up all that much unless there are more upsets. Marshall still has a lock on the 2 spot unless they lose another section game.

I haven't seen Warroad yet, but I don't believe they have the depth of Hermantown. I did see EGF earlier in the year, and fun team to watch but they rely on their top players to produce. Should be fun next month and a half of high school hockey!

Hermantown has to be #1. Their only loses were to AA teams, they have been the most consistent of any Class A team in the state.

Are sectionn records the sole determination for seeding or does the entire body of work have a part in it as well?

I think the point being missed here is that most families choose private school because the class sizes and educational offerings are above and beyond what is available from the public school system, Duluth is no exception.
