Anyone think Elk River could beat East in the Semi-Finals?

You just realized that about Brainerd today? Where have you been. They just got clobbered by Forest Lake and St. Cloud Tech. Their score vs. East today was highly expected.

I'm not really sure how 1-3 should look right now. I mean, there are arguments for all 3 teams for different seeds. I guess I'm in favor of any seeding that puts East and CEC against each other in the semi-finals.

No internet radio for the East/Brainerd game today, probably because it's in Pioneer Hall. This was confirmed to me by their program director Mr. Ciskie.

If the seedings come out and Brainerd has to play on Feb. 17 for the play-in game, I will be laughing in tears.

CI does not belong anywhere in the top 6 in 7AA. 3-0 to Rogers? ROGERS?

So Forest Lake gets no respect at all?

Sure if Brainerd wins those two games, but losing 6-1 to FL and 5-2 to Tech you actually think there is a chance for them to beat East or CEC, give me a break.

I think he meant against East at the DECC. They beat East there in 03 and that is the only one I recall, and that was regular season. Rapids did lose to East 5-2 at home last year on this same game in the schedule, so I don't think it's time to hit the panic button.

Wow, some things just stay the same every year. Rapids loses their game to East, Brainerd starts good and then fades in January.

Rapids never matches well with East. Right now looks like they have a lot of work to do to get ready for the playoffs. East has a hold on the #2 seed, and I think Rapids is looking at a #3 seed.

If Brainerd loses to another weak opponent, it won't matter how they do vs CEC and East. The Warriors almost made me begin to think JLS 81 was right until the Forest Lake game, which proved Brainerd isn't there yet, and JLS 81 is as wrong as ever. Don't learn do ya boy!
