Thanks for the clarity Elliott, it appears this rule is very clear. The $1,000,000 question I have is why this is a rule? I am trying to understand what the downside is to having a A team play a B1 team, especially when an A can play a AA (which I understand is new this year) and B1 can play B2 (bo...

Mn Hockey has a good model to bring hockey to the masses, make it somewhat affordable, and turn out some dang good players. What would you say to the statement that many scouts that believe the MN model really good at developing a lot of mediocre players? Being from Chicago originally, where I have...

Hl4me, I too am a volunteer that puts in plenty of time in support of youth hockey. Your assumption that the members of this forum are mis- or un-informed is simply not necessarily the truth. And if it is a joke, then why are you wasting your time. Your comparison argument carries absolutely no meri...

A rep from FL was and is at every meeting. What OG meant is was stated other board members and parents needed to be there. The leadership of the district did not require treasures reports and did not institute an annual audit. In fact we were told the treasurer was rarely in attendance district meet...

That is correct, over a year has gone by since word of this was released to D2 Associations, and no communication has occurred from D2 or MNH. One would think now that there is public release of legal precedings they would address the situation. The answer to the question posed in the thread topic i...

OMG and Blaine are both top end teams. Game was back and forth and up and down the ice. Very fun game to watch. Two evenly matched teams. Some very nice players on the ice for both teams. Very nice tourney Chi-Town especially for a first year gig! 17 minute stop time periods are fantastic at squirt...

When we moved to Colorado I heard that there was a possibility my son's team might be playing in Blaine. I now know that's not going to happen but there will be at least 12 of the 15 top ranked Tier 1 AAA Teams at the Super Rink in February. http://www.superseriesaaa.com/page/show/427806-superserie...

Upon further investigation apparently it is a district rule, the following is an excerpt from District 2 rules: 3.6 Inter-level Play 3.6.1 In addition to MN Hockey rules (MN Hockey Youth Rules and Regulations Article VII Para. D.) regarding interlevel play (games or scrimmages) between classificati...

No, from what I understand the Tier II AA/A teams and/or MN Teams will be in a different bracket from the Tier I AAA teams. They will not play each other as they are not allowed to. Why are they not allowed? Is this somehow akin to the Squirt game limit? MN Tier II by rule cannot play Tier I teams ...

Re: waiver
I am hoping someone from MN Hockey can help me (really anyone who knows the rules). If someone waivers out of an association, are they allowed to play at the 'A' level their first year? If someone waives out to a new association without moving into that association or attending school in that assoc...
