Re: Section 7AA Final - Andover vs Grand Rapids

I actually think that Andover and Rogers programs rising up is the reason that Minnesota hockey is great. It doesn't get stale. Northern Minnesota will always have enough resources to compete. That doesn't mean they will dominate every year. That's what will continue to make it special.

Re: Section 7AA Final - Andover vs Grand Rapids

I thought the writing was on the wall when Rapids couldn't convert on their three PPs in the first period. Offensive firepower was always this team's Achilles Heel, and when they didn't take the early chances they got, it spelled trouble. Garrett Schifsky was the difference-maker, along with Will L...

I was hoping for a few more games but hats off to Andover for getting that 3-0 lead and hanging on. Rapids was a fun team to watch this year.

Re-read that post. The person said that if Roed is ineligible for the postseason, then Blake should be as well Personally I'd like to see all kids eligible. Wishing a kid to not play is really weird to me. Jackson Blake missed about half of last season. Rules are rules. I get that. I'm not supposed...

Re: AA Rankings for 3/7/21

This GR group of players has been rolling along pretty quietly for awhile now. Going back to late January of last season they are 21-2 in their last 23 games. A loss to Hermantown earlier this season isn't a huge concern. The other loss to Elk River in the semi final last year is one they will have ...

Re: The Hermantown Thread

Thank you Stang. I thought I saw on here a few years back that they were opting up. That was true prior to the closure of Duluth Central, but has not been the case for about a decade now. Did not know this. Very interesting. How many years was East eligible to play Class A? When you are my age a de...

Re: The Hermantown Thread

I'll throw a few thoughts into this thread- I disagree that Hermantown isn't ready for AA hockey based on last nights game. While it was a very good win for GR against a very talented opponent the game was, like the East game a couple nights prior, very much anybody's game until very late. Not exact...

Because this is a CLASS A topic you clown
He was probably responding to Stang and blue blood and Karl who were all talking about AA a few posts back in this thread.

Re: Will there be high school hockey for 2020-2021?

The simplest thing we can do to get back in school, the simplest thing we can do to open up and make sure our businesses remain open like they are, and the simplest thing Republicans can do to make sure I don’t have to take executive actions around the pandemic is to wear a mask,” Walz said. I’ve b...

Does it mean anything that the average person lives to 79 and the average death from Covid is 82?

Just curious.

Re: Will there be high school hockey for 2020-2021?

I never said it killed 4% of the people who got Covid. I said it has killed .0004% of the US population. (130,000/345,000,000.)

So I do believe I understand basic math. I’m not convinced you can read though wise old man.

Re: Will there be high school hockey for 2020-2021?

I’m not saying Covid isn’t real. I’m saying that .0004% of the population has died from it( average age in the 80’s) That leaves 99.9996% of the population that hasn’t. My opinion is that it didn’t warrant putting 30 million people out of work. If you want to live your life thinking otherwise that i...

Ok but you thinking Covid is a sham how does that apply to the topic?

For you class a guy-

I figured since you didn’t ask Hunter guy what washing your hands after potty and covering your mouth while sneezing had to do with the topic it was open game.

Re: Will there be high school hockey for 2020-2021?

.0004% of the Us population has passed away from Covid. (Average age around 82.) That means 99.9996% of the population hasn’t. They shut the economy down and put 30,000,000 people on unemployment. When all is said and done I wonder what the death toll will be from suicides because of financial hards...

Re: Will there be high school hockey for 2020-2021?

Have anyone on this site read the risk factors for this disease. Yes age is one factor. How about obesity, anyone notice that is on the list? How about any chronic respiratory illness? Right now the majority of the people catching this thing are 20-40 year olds who think it won’t effect them and wo...
