I lost the audio, but Hub says 3-2 CEC after two, shots 29-17 Jacks. This Jacks squad has a TON of young talent, and they seem to be adjusting to the varsity game. What's scary is that Esse still has 2/3 of the season to get these kids ready for a playoff run. Yes, lot of talent in the sophomore cl...

Good analysis / section summary's so far! It surprises me how far Denfeld has fallen. I know they graduated some numbers, but why can't they pull in more kids from the youth levels? Do other teams in the section have this issue? Is it time for a change at the top? I know Denfeld and Proctor suffer ...

Where does 7AA stand at the holiday tournament break? Elks in drivers seat again Flake promising Andover ahead of schedule GRapids in the mix Cloquet better than expected Cambridge has a good line St Francis competitive Duluth in shambles Early seeding predictions? East 5, Cloquet 0, shots 44-24. A crisp day at the office for the Hounds. Quality puck movement, goals from all four lines, and a shutout for Kirk Meierhoff. Lots of sophomores in the lineup for Cloquet, so I expect they'll improve, but right now I'd guess Marshall is better than they are. Excellen...

*Sigh* I guess I'll roust myself from my slumber... Hard to say too much about East yet, as the two teams they've played are probably the two biggest surprises in AA over the first week and a half. (One a good surprise, one not so good.) Nor do I think the Cloquet game will be a very good barometer...

You might have meant to post this on the boys forum? DM is single A on the girls side, and they will be watching Hibbing and the Mirage battle it out in Virginia for the right to go to State. JMO... Duluth will be better then last yr, CEC lost a TON of seniors....they won't be as good as last yr.

"Anyone know what Rob Potter is up to (beyond his Pure Hockey), and is he pursuing any of these vacancies?" He has been running the HP 14's & 15's for D10. After watching this I would feel sorry for any HS team that would take him. With your expert hockey knowledge, you should apply for one of thes...

Tell me again what the downside of the AA/A split is again? So we want Cloquets Bantam AA team from this year to fill their season with games vs Proctor, Hibbing and Silver Bay? I'm just excited the HP 14s will be playing in Duluth the weekend of April 22nd. I wish more HP festivals would play in D...

Hastings was as well coached as any team we played this year! He will be missed... Is Herbst out at BSM? With these exits of local metro coaches (or just outside) of teams that have or could have strong potential I'm guessing some former NHLers will possibly be in the hunt for these openings. Podei...

So, I haven't been keeping up with teams this year like past years. I am definitely for the northern teams. Some wont like me for saying this, but I wouldn't mind getting to see rapids at state. However, if it's East again, I am fine with that. What I want to know is the sky falling for East? Sure,...
