Scrimmages
Stillwater played a 4 line rotation and 6 defense in all 3 scrimmages. They look to be very deep and fast. Was impressed with the balance Stillwater has. AHA looked good but I think they will have to change their style against a team like Stillwater or they will get alot of penalties. It will be int...

Coop
This coop is very odd if you ask me. Look at the number of players each team had and is returning. Park Center returns 24 of 25 varsity players Osseo returns 14 of 22 varsity players Tri City returns 20 of 24 varsity players That is 58 returning varsity players not counting the new players who are c...

Not sure where you get your information but if you follow them, Stillwaters Defense has 3 returning seniors that are 3 year starters and the other a junior with 2 years experience. They have more experience in defense than any team in the section. I would put Stillwaters defense as among the best in...

Stillwater returns some goal scorers and players who will take up some of the slack missing from the departed offense. Their defense is all back and will be the best in the section. Goaltending is back and is very strong. Time will tell how they adjust but Stillwater is three lines deep and skilled ...

Yes, if it is there first mistake. As a head coach of a high school sport I have had this occur twice. You have to remember they are kids, and kids make mistakes. The MSHSL has a penalty they are required to serve and it is a good guideline to follow. I tell my players and parents that the team will...

Looking at your list I think it would be hard not to add Stillwaters other two senior defensman to your list. Kelsey Johnson and Kaleigh Bell, combined with Polansky make Stillwaters defense one of the best in the state. I have seen these three play and all three are great skaters and loaded with sk...

Ep going undefeated
I don't know coach Morris enough to comment on him and I dont like it when we make judgements on people in a forum like this anyway. I do know he seemed to handle the team very well last year in the state tournament. Recruiting is a tough call as many times the coach has nothing to do with the kids ...

First of all I am not a Benilde fan, just like what they return. Secondly, they lost to a very good Wayzata team to end the season. They have their top scorers all returning including their best player in Trunzo who scored 43 goals. Yes they do lose a good goalie but with the amount of offense they ...

If your talking about building around a solid goaltender, I would put my money on Blaine with Nixon. She in my opinion is tops. Blaine should be very good, but they will have to get by a very tough Stillwater team. Although Stillwater loses a couple of phenomenal players in Jones and Zilles, they ha...

NDP
Thanks for clarifying MNhockeyfan09. And I also agree that we are all entitled to our opinions. Its interesting to see where everyone is coming from. We all have our own perspective and unique situation to form our opinions.

The fact is not all of the best players choose to play in NDP or many of the other programs offered because they are committed to other sports in the off season of hockey. Frankly I think this is a good thing. These young athletes should be encouraged to play other sports and take time off from each...

coop with park center
I hear what your saying, but i have to wonder where the high school league thinks all the players who will be cut or quit because they dont have a place to play on the high school team will go. Park Center is only losing one senior so where are all the tri city girls going to play? JV? Its funny how...

New coop with Park Center
Why is Park Center cooping? Look at their roster, they only lose one player on a team that went 12-12-2.
