defense, The first half of your first post supports St Thomas then you go against it. Makes little sense. History? Tell me how many wins St Thomas had the year before they built an ice arena and try again. No one is saying getting to state isn't a commendable thing. I'm simply saying that getting t...

Re: drugs vs. tobacco/alcohol

My distinction would be that drugs are an illegal substance. Tobacco/alcohol are only illegal for minors and those under 21. Also more readily available. Could see jail time for possesion of narcotics. I don't believe many youth go to jail for tobacco or alcohol use. Should there be a stiffer penal...

Injury or team dissension under the new coach are the only way these guys don't win 20 games. Their conference is weak this year and they are deep enough to play with any of their AA non conference opponents. Beside Senior Captains Rehkamp and Herd, they have 12 Juniors-10 of which lettered as Fres...

Also, any new on Brunette? He is a solid player and a great student, so he could do something with the Ivies. What about Blankenship? He seems more like a D3.

You'd have to ask wbmd. Apparently a preliminary offer isn't as good as hoping to sign. As I said earlier, a preliminary offer didn't necessarily mean he would accept a contract. Wheeler should have played his senior year at Minnesota - he's not ready for the NHL yet. I think he should have...

Re: NHL Combine

I believe they invite 100 draft eligible players to go through testing and interviews. The physical tests involve: 1. Body composition (height, weight. body fat %) 2. Strength, power and muscular endurance (Grip Strength, Bench Press Repetitions at 150 lbs , Sit ups, Push-ups, Standing Long Jump, V...

Blake Dressen (Blake) was/ is Capt. of the Soccer team (lost to D. Marshall in Finals), Capt. of the Hockey team( 2 state appearances), will also be a major player on Blake's LAX team.
I think he is playing soccer and hockey at Colby.
Good example.
