That has got to be the biggest load of drivel ever penned. Good hockey players can come from ANYWHERE!!! Joey Mullin grew up on roller skates in New York, Chris Chelios in sunny california, Phil Housley in St. Paul and Neal Broten in Roseau. Whats the common link? They were all GOOD!!! Does the game...

At the state touney #15 for lakeville south was a real handful. points on 13 of his teams 14 goals. #9 scored 9 goals in their 3 games. These two carried their team offensively.

E.P. will be the team to beat. 5 returning players and a loaded b team. Wayzata will be strong. No offense to Roseau but one line will not get it done against ep. Replay of 2006 peewee state, not enough horsepower to stick with the big 3. Edina, wayzata ep, clearly at the top.

NO question boyd is a top peewee, likely the best, but lets not get to carried away. As a 93 elite player he's middle of the road. His experience with the the lightning prepared him for bantams..peewees was like a step back after the level he played in spring and fall. As a 93 he likely doesn't crac...

I think to give a fair evaluation of Wayzata's program it is a must to start with the numbers. Along with Edina, EP, White Bear and a few others they dwarf most programs. 7 peewee teams and 6 bantam teams. THEY BETTER BE GOOD!!! Having said that , no question the coaches do a great job and, success ...

Sorry guys, The bears did a great job of EARNING their place at state but having seen them and most of the other teams in the touney it would take an upset bigger than the 80 olympic team for them to reel off three wins at state. A nice team that works hard but I'd give them one chance in 20 to win ...

Dabears your're right on, I watched the game and WBL clearly controlled play, while anyone can question the valildity of goals that are created by hard work and crashing the net, on this day the better team won. LS survived nearly all year by making teams pay for giving up odd man rushes. By my coun...

I witnessed the woodbury- eagan game, yes woodbury took many long shots and yes woodbury took many shots from close in, I'm not associated with either program. The difference in this game was the GOALIE..period. The first 3 overtimes woodbury just crushed eagan and could not get it past the Eagan ne...

I think faribault is truly an unknown in this regional, with out question they have played a weak schedule but they have beaten the teams they should. Does the lack of games against top opposition work against them? probably........if they stay close early don't be surprised if they have some succes...

The lakeville south accomplishment also includes a peewee A team that qualified for regions. Don't think any of the teams is threat to win it all but is impressive considering they've only been split for two years, Imagine if they played the rochester ploy and had just one team at each A level?

even if Eagan defeats Lakeville South its in pool play so if they both win their other two games it still comes down to a probable match up with White Bear or Rochester.

Why in all these senarios does Lakeville end up stuck in district 8. There are no fewer than a dozen teams located within 20 minutes of lakeville and somehow we still drive to albert lea and owatonna and rochester. Just bite the bullet, put rochester in district four ...where they belong...and very ...

Hey refs what ever happened to charging?

Am I the only one who's noticed that charging no longer seems to be in the rule book? Don't get me wrong, body contact is a big part of the game and when done correctly is a tremendous asset for any player. What concerns me is a player taking 60 foot runs at opponents with the intent of sending the ...

Having watched the GR Lakeville game, on this day teams were very evenly matched. If GR did out shoot Lakeville , the quality of chances would be tipped in Lakevilles favor. Outstanding goaltending by GR throughout entire game and shootout. By my count Lakeville sent no less than 6 players in alone ...
