Re: Section 4AA Final: Hill-Murray vs. White Bear Lake

I got Hill-Murray in the upset 4-2 with open netter. Why does the MSHSL let Hill play this game at home????? Just for that i am appalled. Should be at the New Tria or Ridder. yes because that home ice advantage in high scbool hockey goes a long way. Yes let's make east metro teams go across town tp...

Pretty sure there are a lot of coaches in the East Metro just as good or better than Lechner. They just don't have in talent coming in year after year. They have to see top bantam players leave their associations to walk on water with coach Lechner. 8) Who would you say is better? Doing a pretty go...

In talking to some of my JG contacts, this one does not seem to pass the sniff test. From what I’ve heard, this was brought to the MN hockey by the District 10 director, who has a kid on the Stillwater team. This would seem to be a conflict of interest. In addition, it appears that there was no Met...

They were told they won't be seeing any ice time the rest of the season so they quit rather than play JV.

Apparently, Duluth East did the same thing a few years back so there was precedent to allow this.

Where is Pierre from? Cottage Grove? Just like the rest of the team, He is form the community of Hill/Murray. Just where is that? And he played in the Hill youth program. And the Hill-Murray youth team just happens to be comprised of the entire United States. Wait until next year when they add the ...

Their youth numbers are off the charts. You can expect 1-2 top end kids every year to bail for greener pastures but with over 100 kids in each age group trying out, someone will be there to pick up the slack Every large school that "under performs" usually does so for similar reasons. 1. ...

Yeah, the Polars did have two DI players that year and I think Brent Hedican (sp?) was one of them. I don't remember the other player's name but for some reason I think he went to St. Cloud State. Maybe someone with better recall can figure out who those two players were. Brett Hedican graduated in...

I'd read it that they could in theory change associations every year if they change schools every year. Then read again, because you're only reading what you want to read: 5. Changing Schools a. Players who change schools without a related change of residence shall elect one of the following: 1. Ha...
