Is that what you are saying? yes that is what I am saying. Can only ride coat tails so long and coach can't buy way into the national camp. Youngest ...

Whoops, I should have placed this in the girls youth forum. As I was referring to the youth teams, not the high school teams. If I could move it there, I would. Perhaps a higher power will take care of it, the higher power of course being Mitch or Lee.

Thanks for pointing out my error.

Re: AL vs NP

I don't know who really cares, but New Prague just beat Albert Lea 7-3. Score doesn't really dictate the outcome, New Prague dominated the whole game and two of the goals that Albert Lea scored appeared to have bounced off of a New Prague player. In Albert Lea's defence they never gave up and they ...

LZ94, I don't think you need to watch every game to get a good idea of how the teams are doing. You can check the stat sheets on any team at www.mnhockeyhub.com I try and get to at least one or two game a year. I like to pick a game that's not going to be a blow-out, like Austin , Waseca , Winona :...

Lourdes beat albert lea 5-0 in semifinal of kiwanis tournament  Pond hockey champ, I think this quote will help answer your question. If they can find a way to beat Lourdes , they might have a chance. They have there work cut out for them this year. Winona beat them, and Winona hasn't beat A...

Lourdes vs. Albert Lea

Big game in 1A tonight with Lourdes and A.L. playing in the Kiwanis tourney.

I'd say Lourdes is the favorite, especially in Roch. It should be a good game though.

6:45 at Graham #4.

WINONA- 5 AL- 3 BIG let down for the Tigers It was 6-4 with an eng. A.L. had 51 shots, didn't score enough and didn't play ANY defense. I heard tonight that it doesn't count in the Big 9 standings (not that it's acceptable by the Tigers) because it's the second game that is the standings game. Does...

Wrolson of A.L. stopped 33 of 36 last night in Albert Lea's 5-3 win over Century.

He looked very strong and kept A.L. in the game until they could make their comeback in the last half of the game.

I thought this was a very good game, good atmosphere, West fans were fun. Interesting costumes. When people talk about Minnesota High School Hockey, these are the types of games that make it great. Looks like both of these teams will fall into the second tier of teams in Section 1A with Faribault an...

Playing on a line with Jack Connelly will get you points. Not backchecking will make you unsuccessful in Junior Hockey. There is no shame in joining the army. Re: Big 9 Opinions

LZ94 - Respectfully disagree with Owatonna finishing 7th? I would be very surprised if they don't finish in the top three. If their defenseman step up they could win the Big Nine? These are the same players who went the Bantam A State Tournament two years in a row. Also, the added depth at forward ...

big 9

Golfreak, beware of posters with all-caps for a name bashing on Albert Lea. See: ZAMBONI, HOTSHOT etc. Ignore.

I predict:

1. Century
2. Mayo
3. Albert Lea
4. Faribault
5. West
6. Winona
7. Owatonna
8. JM
9. East
10. Austin

We'll see. Does anyone play today?

West won big tonight... 5-2...
5-2 with an eng.

West buried their chances. A.L. didn't. That was the story of the game.
