I would love to see a State Tournament with 8 of the best teams in state. An actual tournament to decide the champion.

No Way. Pad those stats baby. You don't win scoring titles by going soft.

I was at this game, I was somewhat excited to see Marshall play, and knew Luverne would give them all they can handle. First off, Marshall is awful. Sorry Marshall fans, just bad. Luverne has some elite talent. The issue I have is, outside of this forum, does anyone care at all that some of these ki...

I haven't seen Marshall play, I have heard that they have a few solid young players though. I will have to make the trip over here soon.

Doing well in the NA3HL. That's comical. I am sure all of those kids in pay to play hockey love how great they are doing playing against kids that couldn't make their high school team. That league is a joke. Smedsrud is good but their schedule is not good, and playing another year of bad hockey will...

the next level is nahl or ushl. He should be there already. Ask the last good player to play in Luverne how staying back in high school worked out.

How does scoring more points against awful hockey teams make him a better player and get him ready for the next level?

As you can see from the game between Edina which is largely considered the best minnesota program and Shattuck, if you can afford it, send him to Shattuck. It's the best place to play in the country.

If your kid is really good and you have the money, there is no argument that Shattuck St Mary's is the best place for hockey in the country and it is 30 minutes south of the Twin Cities. They play Tier 1 AAA and are regular National Champions. They have had players like Sidney Crosby, Zach Parise, K...

strictly hockey speaking it all depends on the program. If you are planning on playing at an elite program like Blake, Hill Murray, etc. than JV will be a great option. If you are at a program that struggles at the JV level, pick u14. I would say talk to someone for advice that knows your program bu...

The boys side isn't better. Kids leaving as first year bantams to play 4ht line jv at their high school. Minnesota hockey, if they really care about development, wouldn't allow that to happen. I understand if a kid is like Jaxon Nelson and is a star Varsity player that young, but when the kid can't ...

Not necessarily toxic but I guarantee the things that 17 and 18 year old girls talk about is a lot different than what 13 and 14 year old girls talk about. I am not saying that no 13 year old talks about adult behavior and I am not saying every 18 year does, but if you think that a 13 year old is ma...

Why do you want your daughter to grow up so fast? Is a locker room with potentially 18 year olds really a place you want your 13 or 14 year old? Let her play with kids her age. It is not going to hurt her potential. Unless she was a no brainer top 6 forward or top 4 d on varsity, let her develope wh...

I honestly don't know but I would assume all of them have graduated. NAHL teams are not likely going to draft a kid that potentially isn't going to play for them. Unlike the USHL, there is not the futures draft for kids to be protected for a few years. Teams drafting in the NAHL expect those kids to...
