3-2 White Bear Lake in OT. Bears fans will be chewing their nails once again but this time they will be able to pull it off.

Re: Moss is gone

Right now it looks bad, but it could turn out alright. The team's best players (Culpepper, Birk) had expressed the fact that they were fed-up with Moss' antics and felt it was time to move on. Harris has been average at best, there is no arguing that. He does, however, have a lot of potential. If he...

Re: Moss is gone

It is a very debatable trade, but in the end we really didn't go anywhere with Moss on the squad, despite all the talent on the team. If cap money is spent right, this could be an improvement. Burress is a huge deep threat, and Antell Rolle or Derrick Johnson would be great additions to the defense....

Re: Violence in Sports

I saw something about that too Koren. I think it is a great idea. I personally feel they should ban it at games altogether, although they went do that b/c it makes so much money. It seems that alcohol has been involved in most of these fan/player incidents.

Re: Violence in Sports

The way some people overreact and immediately turn to violence is really a shame and it is getting ugly. You see it everyday on the roads and in sports it has become commonplace. Something needs to be changed.

Jefferson/Edina

A great hockey game. First period play was dominated by the Jags but Edina got an odd man rush on the power play and had a pretty goal. 4 on 4 goal by Overman in the 2nd tied the game at 1. Barre Moen had a tip-in late in the 2nd on the power play. Jefferson had their chances to bury Edina but blew ...

Re: 6AA Semis-The Fun begins

I can't see Jefferson walking over Edina. If Edina won, it would be considered a mild upset, but I don't think it would come as a surprise to people. Jefferson is the favorite, but it should be a great game. Can't wait for these two games tommorow.

Re: 6AA Semis-The Fun begins

Don't get me wrong I am not underestimating Wayzata. They are a very good team, even without Lucia. I just think this is the game where EP puts it all together and plays their best. Wayzata had their year last year, and another great one this year, but I feel they come up a little short.

<...

Gophers

I have to disagree with getting all in state players. Briggs has been a pretty solid goalie and Potulny is the leading scorer on the team. I don't know, UMD has fallen pretty far from being the # 1 team in the country. Even a loss to Brown this year? Ouch.
