This should be a good game! Like to go watch it. Where is Greenway? If anyone is wondering where Hermantown is, it's a suburb in a metro area of 150,000 people. It's located in the swamp behind the mall in Duluth. And even though the roster contains players from Duluth, Proctor, Hibbing, Colorado, ...

This game has really changed its meaning for both. Loser is buried with a uphill climb. Fact is they should both be happy Herm and Hibb are single A or both these teams would be on the road in playoffs and most likely one and done. My how the tides have turned on 2 way over hyped programs. All thos...

Release the HOUNDS!!! I'm just picturing Mike Randolph at home in his white lab coat and big dark glasses, mixing smoking potions. "It works, it works!, soon the Hounds will rule Ze World! He has everyone right where he wants them. The Hounds will Rise Again! Good stuff! I wouldn't be surprise...

Re: Hermantown vs Delano

Tues. I believe I am going to run down to Mars Lakeview and catch this game. I know. This will make me a hawk fan now but that's ok. I like watching hs hockey. Any insight on Delano and what there montra is? Are they a puck control team or do they play a physical style? This could be a interesting ...

The only thing Hermantown is guilty of, is developing what they have. Our BAA team started out with a mostly losing season(currently ranked 25th). With amazing coaching they have recently won 6 of the last 7 games beating... Elk River, Blaine, Edina, and Sibley (3 of 4 are 5 teams). As an example.....

kniven, re-read the title of the thread. Oops. Hibbing A (Hermantown will make it to state every year for the foreseeable future. It would be nice to see Hibbing one more time. Hibbing will never have 7-10 elite players in a given year. Hermantown does every single year. AA. Any team from the north.

You are exactly right on Hermantown and the main reason they are over rated is because of Rainier's bloviating to push his agenda. No reason why Hibbing can't win 7A this year and I said it before the season even started. Hermantown has 6 elite league players at a minimum and just enialated Eveleth...

Luverne defeats Hermantown in Class A finals. 6-5 OT. Heads explode. Board implodes. Except Luverne couldn't even win the Bantam State tourney....(3A is the equivalent though....) Hence, heads explode and the board implodes. Hibbing A CEC AA I just hope to see Cloquet with a legitimate shot at winn...

I remember FSN did a story on the family and their son's illness. (I think it was for Hockey Day) I don't remember what the illness was, but I sure hope treatment is helping. Re: Wayzata versus Class A teams

I think it is interesting how a school with 3000 plus students and the largest youth hockey association in the United States loses 5-3 to Hermantown (600 students) and needs overtime to beat Breck (400 students) at home 2-1. What does this say about Wayzata? I think they are the most under performi...

Nailing the coffin? In early December? As happy as I was to see my Thawks beat the jacks, I would save the hardware. I don't expect Cloquet to beat any of the proposed top 3, so if this is just in reference to seeding, you may be right, but there is a lot of season left. I for one am not counting a...
