Yes it nudged them ahead of Centennial just like Hill-Murray's win over White Bear Lake nudged them over Lakeville North.

Class AA 2 - Minnetonka 7 - Hill-Murray 3 - St Thomas Academy 6 - Centennial 1 - Edina 8 - Lakeville North 4 - Duluth East 5 - STMA Realistically they probably give Tonka the #1 seed because they won't want the possibility of a St Thomas/Edina Championship which would deflate tickets sales BIG time...

Just 5 years ago STMA lost 15-0 in the section 7AA quarterfinals to Duluth East. It's amazing how quickly this program has become so competitive. I can't think of any other program that burst onto the scene in such a short period of time. Centennial in the early 2000's maybe? Congrats to the Knight...

The Simley boys are on a mission, Mahtomedi beware, the last time Simley made the Class A tournament in 2003 they beat a highly ranked Mahtomedi team in the section final and went on to play in the Championship game against Warroad and T.J. Oshie, losing a close game.

So who can shed some light on this mystery team STMA? Any special players to watch or just good team chemisty? They are one of the few top twenty I didn't see this season.
