My experience on here is that HM is the epitome of private school arrogance and cockiness. I'm sure they're not all like that, but it's disproportionate.

That was quite the save by Lee...hopefully that will get him back together. Now as for the rest of the team...

Kohls made up for the cheap shot all right.

Could I be rooting for Edina three days in a row?

Are you sure a win by Hill-Murray can actually be counted as a "Yes: It Can Happen?"

What a blatantly stupid cheap shot by Kohls on Ness. That's not how you pull off an upset.

Roseau seemed to step it up as the period ended, and I'm very interested to see how both teams respond after such an unexpected beginning.

Incidentally, has Roseau ever been down by 2 goals this year? You always wonder with undefeated teams if they know how to respond when suddenly faced with adversity. I have to give HM credit here. :?

Random question for the H-M fans...

Why does Hill have a guy in a lion suit as a mascot? What exactly do lions have to do with Pioneers? Unless we're talking about African pioneers or something.

Nice to see an instant classic after all of the blowouts earlier. Everson may go down as the hero, but Brendan Baker is my star of the game with a goal and a number of game-saving plays. Both goalies were outstanding against impressive attacks, especially from Benilde's first line. Benilde had quite...

Baker singlehandedly saved Edina twice in the past minute. Talk about a great player who doesn't get much recognition with all the talent in front of him.

That's twice this period Everson's been left alone, and Meyers has stopped him both times. Edina seems to be sustaining better this period than the last two.

Budish
Everson
Lee
Gleason
Baker

Not a bad five to have out there on the power play. Very impressive kill by the Red Knights. THIS is the way state hockey should be!

Edina has started each period strongly, but Benilde has slowly gained control as each continued, which is probably a product of their relentless forecheck and depth. If Edina can't grab another goal early in the 3rd, I'd start to worry if I were the Hornets. I'm also waiting for Marshall Everson to ...

The difference between this year's tournament and last year's, in AA at least, is that the seeding was very obvious. Throughout the season, 5 teams pretty clearly separated themselves from the rest of the field (2 were in the same section, and Minnetonka went down). Therefore I'm not too surprised t...

We've got two great semifinals tomorrow night. It'll be interesting to see if Mike Lee finally gets a real test. I was amazed with how effortlessly he was moving around the net, but Philippi was solid as well. Both teams bring quite a bit of depth but will probably have to rely on their very best to...

Not a bad effort by LVS, though it sure seemed like HM played down to their level. The Pioneers will need to put forth a much better effort if they want a shot against Roseau tomorrow night. Should be a fun one.

This has the makings of a great game. If Benilde can keep Edina bottled up and wear them down with the forecheck they have an excellent chance to win this game. It'll be interesting to see if the Edina team that does not rotate many lines can keep up with that. The players on those lines are talente...
